“Value for money must see”

A great way to spend a drizzly Fijian afternoon (would be a cool retreat on a hot day). We started with a tour guide who was very knowledgable and let us handle Iguanas and baby boa constrictors (a huge highlight for our family but no so much for friends we were travelling with, although they were convinced in the end!) We even got to hand feed sea turtles. It was a well laid out park, the animals looked healthy and the boardwalk that took you on a journey past many different birds, Iguanas, frogs and flora was well laid out and cared for.
This was our fourth trip to Fiji and my husbands second time to the park - it has grown and improved considerably from his first trip some 24 years ago.
Return taxi with stop off in Sigatoka from Shangri-La Fijian to the park cost FJD$70
Family entry (2 adults & 2 kids 7&11yo) cost FJD$80

“Fear of birds...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2014

The tour guide accompanies you at the begining and the info she gave us on the different species was fascinating. We really enjoyed that part. After this its mostly birds and as I have an irrational and extreme fear of birds this was a nightmare for me. However my fiance and son loved it. Unfortunately we arrived not lobg before closing so we had fo hurry around. Even so it gets a bit repetative anyway so an hour here max is plenty. Would recommend though for young familes as my son loved seeing and hearing about the different species of reptiles etc in Fiji.

“Very worthwhile visit.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2014

Staff were great, informative and genuinely concerned for the welfare of their native flora and fauna. Kids (and I) loved handling real Iguanas and snakes. The boardwalk through forest and information along the way was great. Animals all seemed very healthy and cared for. Good to know our admission fees were going to a great cause.

“Highly Recommend”

Bula! We stayed at the Intercontinental and had an afternoon at Kula Eco Park. My husband loved holding the snakes and iguanas whereas I was the photographer for the day! We got to see some amazing birds and wildlife. I particularly loved the sea turtles and the iguanas. The park is very well looked after and we had an educational and enjoyable time.
