“Wonderful challenging golf course - take a camera.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

If you want to play an extremely challenging golf course, with some of the best golf holes and views you would ever see, this is it.The day I played, the wind was blowing about 20 km/h, which made it even more challenging. The condition of the course was right up there, fairways and greens were exceptional, greens not that quick, but quick enough. I had to hire clubs, got a set of Cleveland CG15's, nice enough to play with.Be prepared to loose golf balls, but don't fear, at various locations around the course the locals are selling lost balls, now found balls, anything from F$1 to 1.50 each, and they don't care what brand it is - Pro V1 or no name. If you like golf, go and enjoy yourself.
Prices at the clubhouse are very good for food and drink, cheaper than the resorts.

“golf in Fiji”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2013

Natadola Bay golf course is a superb example of a quality course, the views are incredible and the design of the holes challenging and rewarding. I was lucky enough to play a round with the club pro Apinesa who made it even more enjoyable, his local knowledge and great company was something I will remember for a long time. Playing off a 22 handicap did mean that I lost a few balls in the rough which in some places is up to your waist, but this didn't detract from the experience at all and the local ladies selling the lost balls on the side of a couple of fairways on the cheap just adds to the fun.
I would recommend playing here to anyone who enjoys their golf, the price is fair if you are used to quality courses but will seem high to anyone who only plays the local Par 3, it is almost worth the price just to hit the ball off the tee on the 4th or even better the 6th which is such a fantastic view.
Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic day, I look forward to seeing a major competition played there on the TV in the future so I can watch how the pro's do it.

“Beautiful and challenging course at reasonable price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013

I tried booking online but didn't hear back (it might have gone to spam) but we confirmed a time when we checked into the InterContinental. Wasn't difficult to choose a time and it wasn't too busy. The hotel has a shuttle every half hour that drives you five minutes up the hill to the golf course. Dress code was collared shirts and our running shoes were ok. Fees were quite reasonable for a course of this caliber. My husband was concerned because I was a beginner, as in never have played golf before ever. We booked for 9 holes and were not paired with any other players and even at our slow pace we were not pressed for time. The course itself is difficult or challenging, however you want to look at it. They have a tee box for women, men and experts. The boundaries are shrubs and water and if you hit anywhere off the fairway you lost your ball. Like, don't even bother looking for it you will never find it. The locals spend all day looking for balls and there were two spots we came across where they sell you the balls 3 for $5 which is cheaper than the $8 per ball you pay at the clubhouse. We needed that because we lost a lot of balls. The course itself is well maintained and the backdrop is amazing scenery with incredible views from several of the holes. The rental clubs they provided were Cleveland Classics in very good condition. The restaurant has very nice views but it was very windy sitting outside and the food was average.

“Wow what a place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2013

This is a MUST see if you love golf, we hit some balls on the driving range then went for a spin around the course in the golf cart, we didn't have time to get a game in, but wow the view was amazing. Must do if u enjoy golf, the only change is the wind was strong when we visited.
