Nadi Bay Resort Hotel

We stayed in a private room with air con and were surprised at how big the room was. Definitely better quality than most backpackers (we have not seen the dorms ofcourse), there is a very nice atmosphere and great restaurant downstairs. We were only there for one night before heading out to the Yasawas, however I think this would be a great place to stay if exploring Nadi for longer.

The Awesome Adventures bus stops here every morning, so this makes it easy for those heading to Mamanucas or Yasawas. If you are catching the local bus from the airport, the fare should be less than $1 FJ - tell the driver where you are going and they will stop the bus on Queens Rd, nearby.

Staff are very friendly and helpful and you can get your laundry done on site. There is a charge for paying with credit card, so have the cash if you can.

We would definitely stay here again.

Travelled here with extended family and stayed in the large family apartment which was 2 rooms and a very small bathroom ensuite. A little tired and outdated but this is why it's cheaper than the rest, we were only staying overnight so it was fine for our purposes.

Breakfast was included in their onsite lovely brightly coloured cafe overlooking the pool. This was a basic breakfast, toast, fruit, coffee or tea. We ate in their restaurant in the evening and were pleasantly surprised, I had a nice curry and the others had fish. It was good value.

Location was great as it was down a quiet side street opposite a sugar cane plantation only 5 minutes walk from a large supermarket and great Indian restaurant. Staff were pleasant and helpful and tried phoning several times on our behalf when our taxi connections failed to arrive.

Some of the previous reviews confirm what I have to say. This is a great hotel for one or two maximum if you need to stay close to the airport or if you need somewhere to stay before heading up to the Yasawa Islands the next day. It is approx 10 mins to the airport. The hotel has fixed price of FJ$9 to the airport and taxi from airport will cost approx FJ $15-20. The hotel is basic but mostly clean and well kept. I didn't go in the pools but both of them looked clean. The sun loungers are a bit old but with a towel over them they are still comfortable. My room was clean although when I went into the bathroom the toilet had been used and was disgusting. I immediately called reception who arranged for a maid to come to the room and clean it which she did straight away. So except for the initial shock the room was then clean. The mattresses in both rooms I have slept in are thin foam so there is little comfort but if you are shattered from your flight in then you will sleep good anyhow. The double rooms are spacious and have a basic but nice feel to them. Sometimes late night noise from the younger travelers who don't seem to want to go to bed to the early hours but I put my earplugs in and slept through it all. One big plus is Antoine's restaurant. I ate here both nights and had fresh fish which was delicious. There is also an Internet room and a library as well as a small gift shop. They also have a small spa and I had a very good massage too. The staff are always very friendly and trying to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, from the friendly staff on reception to those at the bar and in the restaurant.

This is a great stop over for one night only on your way to or from Nadi or on your way to the Yasawas. The pictures must be 20yrs old!! That pool was dirty and there were a million frogs on site. They have good internet, good travel agent on site and the location is a short taxi ride to town & airport. They are happy to store extra luggage while you tour the islands as well. The bathrooms were dirty and old and the a/c sucked. They did have hot water... rare in Fiji! I'll rate it worth staying for conviences of it but have low expectations of rooms.

If you are looking for a basic place to stay, at arrival or before departure from Nadi, this is all right. It is a small hotel with a pool, restaurant, laundry service and 24 hr reception and there are always taxi's available, which is nice if you have to leave early in the morning. There is a internet area, wifi, souvenirshop and bookexchange. Supermarket in walking distance. Small breakfast buffet and good, fresh fruit platters. But don't expect anything fancy.. The dining and pool area look cosy but are a little bit old fashioned, with old, unclean plastic deck chairs.

Got a double room that was spacious and air conditioned, but the bathroom was NOT clean. There was mould everywhere and there were hairs on the floor before I even entered the room, so they didn't do a good job cleaning. I was a little bit pissed about it, because even though they have affordable prices, it's really not for free either.. Expected more for the amount of money I paid. Had to ask twice for a clean towel and all that's in there is just really old; doors, balcony, airconditioning, showers, beds, really everything.

If you are looking for a basic place to stay for just a night, you'll be fine, if your standards are not to high. They offer everything you need. But don't stay there for more then 2 days (it's not the kind of hotel you enjoy hanging at the pool all week), and certainly don't expect anything special.

This is a good option for short stays while you wait to transfer to one of the island resorts of if you fly in Fiji late or leaving on a early flight as they provide free airport pickups. Unfortunately they don't complimentary trips back to the airport but reception is till late and very early if not 24/7 and they will arrange for a taxi to take you to the airport. Rooms are reasonable though prices seem slightly more than they should be for the basic facilities provided. They have several pools separate from each other so you can claim a pool to yourself if lucky. All have a internet cafe and a free cinema that plays new releases.
