After walking around streets of Nadi, tired and hungy by 3 pm, many of the local Nadi eateries did not look that enticing. My wife and I (50+) took a chance at this restaurant and were both pleasantly surprised. Shop front has frosted glass so can't quite see inside but we received fresh, good value meals and friendly local service.
This is a basic Asian style restaurant. So no fancy crockery, table cloths, fancy water bottles or "white glove" maitre d. The waitress for the day was a young family friend from a nearby shop - so yes you could call this a local family business.
We ordered a spring roll and expected the normal small fried rolls we get back in Australia. Instead we received a large, fresh vegetable spring roll that was fresh and delightful. Not sure of pastry but possibly tofu (see picture).
For mains we ordered a chicken, vegetable and cashew nuts. It was served in fried edible noodle basket and was fresh, hot and very nice. It was enough to feed both of us (see picture).
We recommend this place and will certainly go back when next in Nadi later this year.
