Yummy food & good value for money. Biggest pizza's we have ever had! It is a venue where you go up & order, but the staff come & check that everything is ok etc. Lovely open feel. Need Aeroguard after dark. Lots of cute frogs around outside too. Close to the Sheraton resorts & the bula bus stops regularly.

Admittedly we had a deal which included course fees and golf carts. But that aside, playing golf on the Denarau course is a pleasant experience.

While the course is relatively long (some 6500m), it's a lot easier than many because of the wide open spaces on and around most fairways, and if you get off track (as I occasionally do) recovery is quite simple given the rough is only 5 cm or so buffalo/kikuyu and the width of the trunks of the coconut palm trees is modest compared to those damned gum trees in Australia

Fairways and greens are about 8/10 and the general presentation of the course about the same. There's been a bit written in TA about the water hazards - they are not too bad. One par 3 has a fair carry across it, but most of the canals are placed so that a fair to average hit will clear them. My wife and I (neither is a champion) brought a dozen balls with us, and took six home - not too bad after two rounds.

Club hire is F$65 for 18 holes and, $F45 for 9 - for pretty good quality Nike clubs (and we shared only one bag - not a problems as there was not heavy traffic on the course (except after 11.00am Saturdays). We worked out that the excess baggage costs on the airline would have been considerably more if we took our clubs. Shoe hire is $F20. We took our own but nobody seemed to be fussed what footwear we had. If you don't have a deal with green fees included, cost of those I think is some $F165

Now to the restaurant. A lot is made about the $F4 tap beer - that's pretty good. But the pizzas were thin and forgettable and the fried food looked like it came out of a take away store. It would be OK for a snack, but don't plan to have a memorable dinner in the barn- like restaurant.

The facility is just 100m or so from the Sheraton Resort and just a little further from the Westin (and of course you can catch the free Bula bus!!)

Don't expect haut cuisine or even medium cuisine! A pre-prepared Caesar salad that bore little resemblance to the original concept served straight out of the fridge (at least they took the glad wrap off). Then a pizza that any Italian probably would have returned. And I should have too. But I was hungry, and as a consequence disappointed.

Put that together with wines by the glass of very average value and quality (am I being too generous with 'average' I wonder as I type this) and not a place I'll be racing back to.

Shame as lovely setting, good friendly staff and convenient location to the local resort hotels.

Played 3 Agnes of tennis here and the courts were good. We paid for 3 sessions which was cheaper than doing it individually. Didn't try the grass courts. Also had lunch here. Wood fired BBQ chicken pizza which was very tasty.
Prices for pizza are a bit misleading as it says from $13 but that is really for a garlic phreak pizza. Most pizzas were in the mid $20's but they were freshly made and good to see them being cooked in the pizza oven.
