Our family of four stayed here for one night. We arrived mid morning and were able to check in straight away. The airport is right across from the airport and literally a five minute stroll. The room was a decent size but not very clean. Everything had just been wiped around and the bathroom had a terrible stench. The pool area is great and the kids enjoyed mucking around here for the day. Only downfall was the cost of getting to Denerau Port for dinner - FJ$30 each way and this is a set fee by all taxis. However as the room only cost NZ$105 for the night, we couldn't really complain. I wouldn't want to spend more than one night here but it way good value for the money we paid (booked via wotif.com).

We stayed here to take our flight to Hong Kong. It is a good transit hotel. Not a holiday resort. Atmosphere Ok, there is a Swimming pool with a slide, children liked it. Only short comming is the Food they don't have good selection especially there is no vegetarian food at all. This is OK for few hours transit. This is little overprice comparing with other hotels around this area

The Raffles Gateway is a great place to stay, especially if flying early from Nadi, as it is located across the road from the airport. The rooms are reasonably large, the facilities are good and the food is good and reasonably priced. They have a courtesy bus and will pick up and drop off at the airport. If you want to go to Nadi the bus stop is right out the front if you don't want to pay for a taxi.

Room Tip: If you are a trainspotter room 112 has the best view of the railway line, but this room has recently been upgraded from Deluxe to Executive so now costs a little more. The cane trains operate June to December.

We spent only one night in Nadi as a stopover. We arrived at the hotel at 4pm and left the following morning very early to take the bus to the Yasawa Flyer at 7am. The hotel is nice, has a lot of space, a nice big garden. The rooms are basic, though we booked a superior room. It was clean, functional, had a tea/coffee making facility, which helped us to have an early coffee the next morning. The bed is comfortable but the towels had stains on one of them... I asked for fresh towels.
They offer free airport pick-up, which is good, but it's even better if they told you that the hotel is right outside the airport, just 300 m walk, which would have made us save some time... instead we waited for the hotel van for about 45 minutes.
There's a bar and a restaurant, we had some good sandwiches there. We wanted to go to the city centre, just to look around, but the girl at the reception didn't advise us to go, because everything closes early and it's not very safe, that's what she said. So we stayed at the hotel.
The following morning we took the bus that took us to the Yasawa Flyer, and the bus stop is right outside the hotel, very convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stopover in Nadi.
