Beautifully maintained gardens. Breathtaking tropical plantings. $16 entry fee and complimentary fruit juice.

The gardens were lovely, and yes, there were orchids. The guide was very knowledgeable but somehow I expected more. More colour? More flowers? Just 'more'. The garden is not really designed for disabled people, and certainly couldn't be traversed by anyone in a wheelchair, as its quite hilly with gravel paths leading to wooden, well, 'steps' would be an overstatement. Sloping uneven wooden paths, perhaps. I don't mean to sound too negative, as it was a pretty place, but with all the hype of what I was told about it, perhaps I didn't see it in the right season. Maybe find out when orchid season is in full bloom before deciding to go.

The gardens were lovely and there is a great range of orchids and other flowers. There are no signs or maps so I'm not sure how much of the garden we actually saw. We were with 2 young children (5 & 7) and they found it a bit boring. Good place to spend a couple of hours if the weather's not so great or if you're fed up with sitting by the pool or beach.

The flowers and grounds are just awesome. You can take a guided tour or just walk around the complex yourself and take in areas the tours do not go. Great place to spend a quite hour or two listening to the sounds and enjoying the breath taking plant life.
