“Pretty.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2012

Pretty flowers. Trail to follow. Boring tour guide who seemed like she didn't want to be there. Free juice at the end. I'm sure if you were really into gardens, it would be an ok trip. Not much is planted in the ground. Lots of plants in pots.

“Flower Power and More”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2012

The place itself is located after a pretty rough and tumble unpaved drive but once you get to the gardens, it's quite serene and nice. A guide was available to tell us about all the orchids and tell us interesting tidbits about the place, which could be cool for those interested in such information (unfortunately, I'm not much of a flower/garden person). There are some pretty cool trails at the back, after all the orchids and if you have a guide (in my case, the actual guide for the half day tour I was on led me after the orchids guide left me hanging), it's interesting to learn about the trees and biodiversity of Fiji + snap some very "green" photos :) The downside about the gardens was the amount of mosquito bites I came out with...they don't play!

“was expecting more”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2012

We visited here as part of a tour. I had read up on the place and was expected a bit more. There was a good variety of orchids but they were all in pots. Once you get past the orchids there is a longer area that walks through different trees, including various types of palms. No part of the attraction looked like a beautiful garden but more of a short nature walk area. We did go a couple weeks after the area was it by a cyclone which I'm sure affected how nice the area looked.

“Georgeous Flowers---Fun for 10 minuets.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2012

The Flowers are incredible! But they are just flowers. Paying $15 entrance fee and $40 cab ride from denarau makes this expedition a little bit of a let down. Bring a camera and get a shot walking down the beautifully hallway of orchids...then have a glass of juice and leave.
