There's not a lot to see in this museum but to be sure, there are a number of items of interest, including a Royal Visit or two. There is an original Union Jack flag which frightened off the French, quite a gem! We felt that our entry fee might have made a small contribution towards an upgrade, which would be good for this establishment.

This was a nice surprise. The museum is housed in the library which brings back nostalgic days of catalog cards and the likes. The museum is basic but does have some nice exhibits. Worth visiting!

The National Museum of the Cook Islands gives you a look into the history of all of the Cook Islands, not just Rarotonga. It is small but full of interesting artifacts, from paintings to tools to traditional clothing. There are cases for each of the Northern Cook Islands and all have artifacts from each island. It is a place to visit if you want to see into the past of the locals.

Wasn't a lot on display. I'm not sure if financially it is able to be improved. Very dark inside. Some things were interesting but there needed to be more.
