The hours show it is open during the week, however, it is only a small selection of food stalls. The market is best experienced Saturday morning.....the sooner the better. Only disappointment was no fresh flowers. Everything else is there from fresh veg and fruit, to local crafts, food vendors, local artists and entertainers on stage. You get the island flavour in a one stop shop. Enjoy.

We strolled the market for a few hours and really enjoyed everything on offer. From fresh coconuts, coffee and smoothies to pear jewellery, clothing and arts; there is something for everyone here. We bought lots of local produce, and of course donuts (so good!) and enjoyed breakfast here together. A definite place to visit if you’re visiting Rarotonga.

Make sure you go to these markets early (before 9am) on the Saturday. Great place for all sorts of bits and places. Waffle Shack is a must do for delicious waffles and coffee!

Decent Saturday morning jaunt - but as far as traditional markets go, this is for the most part comprising of crappy trinkets and souvenirs, decent choice of food and clothing (not cheap).
Highlight is the stage show that is on from about 10:30am - highly recommended for that alone and if a spend thrift like myself, enough dancing and music to satisfy ones seeking to attend a traditional dinner/dance show. Make a decent donation to this group instead.
Food was decent as well, but get in early as everything runs out quick!!

Very very disappointed. Our third visit to be treated with arrogant attitude totally lacking quality customer service by 7 out of the 10 we went too. The ones that showed customer service and satisfaction got our money. Live and learn. You are rarotonga not america or there equivalent.
