“Consistently Good Coffee”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

This is a great place for coffee, and a fine breakfast.

On two occasions I ordered poached eggs on ciabatta toast, the first visit the eggs were superb, served hot and the toast was fresh, however the second visit the eggs were not as good, the food lukewarm, and the toast not quite fresh.

Lovely outdoor atmosphere with friendly and welcoming staff.

Again, they make great coffees...

“Good Pizza, but Expensive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2013

My husband & I had lunch at Salsa one day while we were in Rarotonga. Service was very good, as was the pizza, but we were disappointed to have to pay $19.00 for a snack-sized pizza. The server said it would definitely be enough for 2 people, but I could easily have eaten it by myself - it was pretty small. So, if you don't mind paying too much, for a tasty snack - go for it!

“Boring Salsa”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

I have been going to raro for 9 years and the menu is still the same, boring-boring. The place needs a good kick in the bum, get something new happening. They even forgot to give our breakfast order to the cheif so we got 50 percent off the bill when it finally arrived. AJ

“Best coffee and food and friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2013

We went here a few times over our stay, I cant remember the name of the meal maybe eggs avarua, but it was an island version of eggs benedict but with marlin, really nice and the coffee was awesome but the young waiter was a standout, he was very friendly and helpful. This time of year they only open till 3pm but during their busy season they start opening for dinner.
Salsa was always full and once they advised us of a 40 minute wait, but we didnt want to go anywhere else, the wait was fine, gave us time to people watch, afterall we were on island time!
