An impressive building, well located in the shopping district of Punta Carretas within walking distance of the shopping Mall, the parks and Golf club. Wide rooms very confortable with large beds and LCD, airconditioning, minibar and free acces to WiFi. Breakfast is excellent and the Kansas steak house at the Lobby level is cozy and well served. It is a no frills hotel, bussines style and shortof staff but we got a very good rate, value for money. There is a parking at the basement but is is not included in the rate though we got a 20% discount in the fees upon check out.

Sewer gas smell in my room, sometimes at gag strength, sometimes tolerable. Front desk responds that many rooms have this problem, they ask me to open the windows and offer me room deodorant or a different room.

After checking in I entered room, which appeared clean...only to find that the toilet was "full."

Maid entered room without knocking, when there was a do not disturb sign on the door.

Internet was very slow.

Front desk advised that neighborhood around the hotel was safe, but not to venture to the port area. I was mugged three times in broad daylight near the hotel to no one's apparent surprise.

The facility is new and looks great. The service and maintenance issues, however, make this a poor choice.

This new hotel is very well placed , in a area two blocks from the beautifful "rambla" de Pocitos, and close from many good restaurants.
The room is very confortable, with nice shower, good amenities and very clean.
The internet works very well and fast in any place that i was around the hotel.
the only bad point for me it was the air conditions that just works like a heating , donsn't mater if you put to be cold.
breakfast are good ,in a restaurant that in the evening open for dinner and bar.
All the staf was great and helpfull.

Room Tip: All of than are perfect

We booked this hotel last year and staid there in December 2013, for a conference that was taking place near by the hotel. We chose it primarily due to its location. We arrived after 17 hours trip, around midnight, to be told that they decided to send us to another hotel in completely other part of the town. We explained that we insisted to stay in Dazzler because of the conference venue nearby, and we had to give early morning lectures, and we could not afford to pay a taxi from another hotel for a whole week (they wouldn't compensate for extra expenses) and we could not rely on buses . They said Dazzler was not ready, water pipe broke, and we could not get into our room. I just wondered why they have not told us about that few days before, or at least emailed us on the very same day when the water pipe broke. We found out that they sent away almost all guests who were coming for the conference. After some more-less friendly discussion at the front desk, a hotel manager (or a director) arrived and tried to convince us to go to another hotel which we still did not want. At the end he offered us to stay in his room (seems that a manager has an own room in the hotel). That was a nice gesture and we were happy to take it. Room was nice, not too big, and there were still some leftovers in the toilet. Hotel was obviously not ready to have guests. For example there were no signs for emergency exits. Restaurant was improvised at that time, served in a foyer, and breakfast was really poor for a 4 stars hotel. In room we could not find any hangers nor an iron, we requested it, and after a while we saw a guy from a hotel going to a store to buy it, that was also nice from them. People at the front desk were really friendly and tried hard to be helpful, but not all of them seemed to be very professional, mainly they did not really know what was going on with rooms, overbooking etc. Hotel has a great location, and a great potential to become the best one in Montevideo, but if it continues to be managed poorly I am not sure how long it will last. Grand opening was supposed to be Dec, 2013, but I do not know how far did they go with the constructions. While we were there it was still being built, which was a bit annoying because of the noise and dust. I think that at that moment this hotel did not deserve more than 2 stars, I hope now it is a bit better. I would go there again, just out of curiosity to see if they managed to make a decent hotel out of it, and again location is great.

Last week I spent 4 nights at this hotel.

Pros: excellent location, free wi-fi, brand new building, spacious rooms, nice beds and good showers. Front desk staff was good and the restaurant manager does an excellent job with the little resources the hotel offers him.

Cons: I only had housekeeping 2 out of the 4 nights. Brought that up to the front desk but received no compensation or even an apology for that. Breakfast buffet does not have too many options. The last morning of my stay water was warm (but not hot) in the shower. The AC was only running on cold and the temperatures were cold, so I wanted heating and I was told it was not working.

Gym is nice but it is on a low floor and all windows face a busy street so everybody turns around to look at you at the gym. Some people might nit mind, but to me it was a bit uncomfortable.

I believe this hotel has potential to be a great hotel, but right now it is not a 4 stars as it claims to be. Finally, the relation quality/price is not a good one.

Room Tip: The higher floors are quieter.

This hotel should not be open. It's not ready and it's dangerous for the costumer's health. There is dust from the still not finished construction everywhere. They even block the sidewalks with the construction and you have to walk in the road without any protection.
The gym, that was supposed to be opened to the costumers, got closed because one piece of the ceiling felt down.
The staff is not ready to help you with anything. I asked the front desk for a spoon to give food to my baby and they said they couldn't help me because it belonged to the hotel restaurant, that was closed. The same happened one other day when I needed some ice for my other sun that bumped his knee.
The room was supposed to be nice has stinky bed sheets and don't even try to sleep a little more because the noise starts early.
The breakfast is also no big deal. Something that you would find in a cheap hotel.

Room Tip: Don't go right now. Maybe when they finish the construction and organise everything.

Bed sheets smell like damp, breakfast is bad, hotel is not finished and everyday from 10am to 10pm there is a very loud noise from construction workers on the top floors that won't allow anybody to sleep. I don't recommend this place.
