We really enjoyed our lunch here, we arrived at the start time (12.30) and were the last to leave at the ending time (3.30). The service is excellent and the food is tasty. The kids food area is great. The improvements we would suggest: a better kids area with actual toys and a movie playing for young kids (they had Spiderman 3 playing which is 15yrs+ and scary for young kids), there was no one working the pancake station and even when we stood there no one came, more food selection, more sauces for the pasta, more deserts. Also compared to other hotel brunches we have been to around the world this was the same price (around USD$50) but did not include alcoholic drinks whereas most other hotels charge the same but include drinks.

The design takes you back in time. The hotel was inaugurated in the '20s. The service is warm and efficient and the food is one the bests in town.

My wife and I had dinner at this beautiful restaurant. There's a wide variety of great wines, the food is superb. We had a langoustine ravioli, the salmon and a chicken breast with vegetables. All of them delicious. Prices are high as expected. Definetly worth it.

Not only is this a beautiful restaurant inside a palace, but the food and service match. They have a great menu, their breads are homemade and amazing is everything else there. I have been there for breakfast and dinner. The service is amazing. They learn your name immediately and always find a way to surprise you.

The carts with the aperitifs and the digestifs are beautiful and add a great touch. If you don't want alcohol, they always have a non-alcoholic beverage as an option. Their selection of teas is spectacular.

Definitely a must if you are in the area. I hope to return soon.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel an afternoon and one evening for our wedding anniversary. This hotel has a lot of history and much of that has been preserved in the renovation.

The staff is very new and still working out the kinks in organization and communication. We had marienda in the bar and you could see the coordination between the kitchen and the bar staff was still a work in progress. Also, although we were guests in the hotel, there was some doubt and discussion as to whether we could find a table in the bar for a glass of wine, as the area had been reserved for a birthday. My suggestion in that regard is to more efficiently allocate the space, add some smaller tables, and do not allow reservations in the bar area. Hotel guests should certainly have priority.

Our room was wonderful and I wish we could have stayed longer. We had a beautiful view of the rambla and the river, and even so it was exceptionally quiet due to the double paned windows.

We had dinner in the 1912 restaurant; very good food and wine selection. We ordered a bottled of Torrontes which we did not finish but which was sent to our room later, with 2 glasses.

In summary, a very pleasant evening, just please remove the two full size plastic horses in the reception corridor which double as lamps.
