Sheraton hotel is an older upgraded hotel. Friendly staff are helpful. The room and was very clean and the older marble style bathroom was nice.
Buffett breakfast was large and excellent and had food choices for all tastes.
We stayed on executive floor for a 45 dollar upgrade. This gave us breakfast included for 2 and use of lounge on 23 floor. A larger ocean view room was nice. We didn’t really use the lounge which offered snacks and free drinks as
we preferred the large Buffett breakfast in the lobby floor to the smaller one offered in the lounge.
I would recommend this hotel which is not in the city centre but in a nice area convenient to shopping and many good restaurants.

I want to just comment on how wonderful the staff and everyone at the Sheraton Montevideo is.

The rooms were immaculate and service top notch.

A special mention to Luciano Baute at the lobby bar for his professionalism and amazing attitude! Made our stay that much better! We will definitely be back.

The hotel is very comfortable, the city is beautiful, and Luciano is the most fun and accommodating bartender I could have hoped for! I asked him to make me a drink with tequila and he mixed me a delicious drink, and was so charming with great service. Look for him when you come here!

My wife and I stayed here one night while visiting Montevideo. Very clean hotel with very helpful staff. Rooms were quiet and beds were comfortable. Lounge was very nice.
Great location in Punta Carretas. Recommend Garcia restaurant nearby. Punta Carretas mall is next door. Fresh Market supermarket has every thing you possibly need to eat. Took a FREE Walking Tour Saturday with Curioso FWT and thoroughly enjoyed it. Taxi/Uber ride to downtown is 10-15 minute ride. You can also rent bikes and ride along the Rambla.

Location: attached to the mall, hotel is also close to the beach but not too close to downtown or old town. About US$16 in an Uber from the airport.

Property: very well maintained. Smallish lobby with a bar and a restaurant. It has 26 floors, 3 elevators plus one that goes to the mall. Rooms on the beach side have a gorgeous view. All floors - at least the Club Level - has fresh flowers in the elevator lobbies.

Room: Got a rare upgrade to a suite (Titanium Lifetime member) and it was perfect, including turn down service! See attached photo of the view.

Has a small executive lounge which was never crowded over the weekend. Complimentary champagne and wine only. Evening food included soup sandwiches and a charcuterie Board plus desserts!

Breakfast was included for executive members in the restaurant and it has a big buffet with eggs to order.

Some staff members went above and beyond the normal call of duty:
- Marcella (I think) at the front desk - very gracious and helpful
- Lucia in the lounge - delightful help for my pigeon Spanish and happy to help everyone
- Virginia in the restaurant: see attached photo. In my 900 nights at Marriott’s, no one has ever done something as nice!
