Description: Besides the fact that you can come to have a guided tour throughout the winery, vineyards, wine cellar and a classic car museum you can also have wine tastings and lunch. We think that the best food is usually the simple food made with high quality ingredients is the best. Our speciality are the grilled meats but do not hesitate to try our more elaborated dishes. We recommend if you are paying us a visit to do it chill, not in a hurry so you can enjoy your staying the best.

“Lovely place to eat”
Reviewed February 28, 2013 via mobile

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Baby beef (what else would it be??) was very good and all the wines we tasted were very good, highlight being Tannat. The whole ambience of the place is excellent, very modern and relaxed with great staff.

We also did the winery tour, not much to see to be honest but worth doing to appreciate the small scale of the operation.

“Excellent experience”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

The whole visit to the Winery is an experience itself. I was recommended this place and organized a rendez-vous we some international friends (from Venezuela, Chile, France, Italy and Uruguay, of course). What to say? everybody LOVED the place, the tour, the guide was very specific when approaching experts questions... We had an amazing experience having lunch there with our dear friends. It's not cheap, I have to admit. But it was worth every penny. Keep the experience for a special occasion!
My husband is always asking me to go back :)

“Best restaurant of my life”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Bouza is simply the best restaurant I ever been. The food is amazing and the wines too. The atmosphere is great. The prices are very high but totally worth it. The food and desserts are very special, with great ingredients and executed perfectly. They are located outside the city of Montevideo but it is very easy to find. We rent a car and visited many wineries of the region. Bouza was the closest to the city, around 20 minutes by car.

“Fabulous winery and great food”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

This is the second time we have visited this winery and as we were on another cruise we were not going to miss the opportunity of dining there. An easy 30 minute taxi ride from the city and we were made to feel very welcome even though we had not made a booking (not recommended as they are always really busy) and they were full on this day. We sat outside on the settees and tasted some wines before being shown to a table under the vines. Fantastic food and service. Would love to go there on a regular bases but as we live in New Zealand we probably will never get back. Their wines are fabulous as well. Well worth a visit if you are in that part of the world

“Exceptional tasting experience and lunch”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

Bouza is amazing! The tasting was well presented and explained. I am not a big tannat wine drinker. However, I enjoyed the wines regardless. The owner has antique cars on site. The grounds of the bodega are simply amazing. The tour provided was exceptional. This particular bodega is clearly well organized and appears to be well-managed as well.
