This is my go-to parillada in Montevideo. The menu is short, because they concentrate on what they know. The chorizo and french fries are the best in the city. The steak is excellent quality and very consistent from night to night. They tend to undercook, so if I want rare, I order a punto. It seats about 12 inside, so get there early or late to get a seat. They are open every night but Sunday (but are open on Sunday for lunch). They offer outside seating in nice weather.
The service is always fantastic. The limited menu helps.
I always bring my guests here becaue it is such a classic place. It simply feels like the real Montevideo.
