This busy little restaurant serves fantastic traditional Italian pizza. It has a slightly rustic, homey, ambiance (brick walls, high ceilings, wooden seating) although it seemed a little warm inside so we opted for one of the 4-tables available on the sidewalk just outside. The street is very quiet at night so we made the best of the typical warm Montevideo summer evening. Service was great. Together, we shared 2-pizzas and a litre of house wine which came to approx 40$US. Everything was mouth-watering, aromatic and fresh tasting - no disappointments. The Cuatro Stagioni was a mix of tasty cheese, fresh tomatoes, ham, anchovies, mushrooms, olives; the only difficulty was deciding which of the 'four seasons' to try first. With the eclectic selection of pizzas available on the menu, it's a good idea to try different topping on each half. For our 2nd pizza we chose salmon on one side (the smoked salmon, cheese and fresh radicchio combination was delicioso) and for the less adventurous, pizza capricious. I'd eaten here a few years ago and it was as good as I remembered!
