All other reviews are 100% accurate - this is by far one of the nicest Luxury Collection resorts that I have stayed in. One feels like they are in a rustic Aspen chalet upon entrance with beautiful mountain views from most guest rooms. Large guest rooms with walk in closets state of the art bathrooms, wood floors, large flat panel TV, stereos - all the bells and whistles!
Spa & pool area is breathtaking too, as is the dining room with huge vaulted wood-beamed ceilings and fireplaces. One negative (I mean really) the dining room needs to consider lowering prices for guests and consider a gourmet dining room for the current menu. A little pricey for most families. Also - need dining room to stay open all day - too limited now and we needed to eat lunches in the bar upon afternoon arrival.
With all of that said - if you want to stay a few days in the Sacred Valley - I would avoid the Orient Express and enjoy this resort. On the other hand - not too much to do in this little town (within walking distance). 3 Keros Restaurant (2 walking blocks away) was excellent and a fraction of the cost as the resort;s dining options.More
