We stopped here, in Maras for lunch. The place is a step down from the main road. The passage, a very busy garden full of blooms from the national flower qantu to all kinds of tropical flowers was a treat for these hungry tourists.
The lunch is buffet style with about six different tables as food are categorized from main dishes, appetizers, salads to desserts. All of us were very hungry and went for several rounds. Foods include ceviche, different types of soups and salads, side vegetable dishes, quinoa sushi and the different desserts from caramel topped cakes, mousse, to cheesecake.
After lunch, we walked down below and played with the llamas and enjoyed the river view. It was a very “filling” dining experience.
