We came here with a tour group. They were no where prepared for their busy season. As a vegetarian it is important to know what is in the food, and their food was labeled but incorrectly. "Vegetable" cannelloni was full of meat. Vegetable sauces and salads had bits of meat in them. The servers were rude and would not give me water for my tea. I would not send anyone I know here.

While doing a tour of the Inca ruins in Urubamba, our tour guide drove down this narrow dirt road and what a wonderful surprise the Tunupa Valle Sagrado was when we pulled into the parking lot. The grounds are beautiful and the setting so pastoral. We were even more pleased with the wonderful buffet meal and great service. This restaurant may be hard to find on your on own but I am sure all of the tour guides know about this place.

We were on an all day tour and lunch at this place was part of the package. The location is lovely. Had a beautiful view while eating. There were many cold selections, soup and several hot selections. The cold salads were ok, but the hot food left a lot to be desired. In addition the English translations were not correct (there was sweet and sour chicken in Spanish, translated to sweet and sour pork in English). Most of the hot food was lacking taste. While the building and locations were lovely, I've been to far better buffets.

This historic Hacienda offers great views of the Urubamba River as you enjoy your meal from a extensive buffet. Recommend sitting out on the terrace to take advantage of the mild weather and views. After enjoying your meal, you can explore the grounds that include a garden and path to the river.

What a lovely place! Clean, gardens & flowers galore! Peruvian flute music played while you dine. MANY MANY CHOICES from the buffet, and very good quality! Very happy with Tunupa!
