I can almost represent our group of 75 to say the following:
The beautiful environment and excellent service make this hotel separate from all others. It is like living in a paradise. The hotel ground is vast, with lush vegetation and a few lovely animals (e.g. peacock, alpaca), and with a beautiful mountain view so close. Photo enthusiasts will be thrilled. At first it can be intimidating, particularly when you arrive late and don't know where your room is located (staff is everywhere to direct you), but the romantic atmosphere soon change your feel. Rooms are gigantic and beautifully decorated. Some with walkout patio doors to seemingly your own private garden. All the service personnel makes you feel so welcome. They even line up to wave and say good-bye to you when you leave. Too bad we only had 2 nights' stay, and we had to visit other places during the day. Otherwise, staying there for a week is not a problem. The hotel also has several shops with very friendly staff.
Since it is in the middle of nowhere, it is almost impossible to venture out for dinner, but the restaurant in the hotel is a great place to dine.

The most incredible location, four valleys meet makes for stunning scenery. 5 star hotel with superrrrrr friendly and attentive staff. Hotel photos will give you some idea. I suggest only making a day trip to Machu Picchu and avoiding staying in the town of Aguas Calientes. Much better to stay at Aranwas. Americans will find the pricing extremely reasonable. An unforgettable exerience, even my three teenagers loved it. And a world class spa with excellent staff!!!

This hotel is a perfect setting for all the animals (friendly) on the grounds. Kid friendly, excellent staff willing to do anything to make your stay a great experience. Food, 20 star; Fresh, just a great place to kick back and enjoy; If you don't want spa use, no one pushes you to do it, its available.
Also, this place is not far from the train that takes you to Macchu Pichu which is a great convenience.

Room Tip: All the rooms are suites. We came off a cruise ship and it was about 6 times bigger than our balcon...

On a recent cruise I had a 2 night excursion to Machu Picchu that included a one night stay at the Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness. Entering through the gate is something I will never forget as this secluded oasis revealed itself. The grounds are magnificent. The staff is first rate. The rooms have to be seen to be believed - they are huge! Great products, chocolate on the pillow (fantastic mattress/bedding/pillows!!!), slippers and a stand alone rain shower in the bathroom (next to the jacuzzi tub of course!) that I truly enjoyed. The grounds have llamas, peacocks, goldfish, and a variety of birds. The on-site church has a great tower that you can see all the grounds. The gift shop and art gallery are nice touches. At night everything is lit up beautifully. The food is outstanding, and the comfy bar with open pit fireplace is charming and welcoming. As our group of 57 was leaving the following morning many staff members came out to wave goodbye. Oh my...it was truly a moment in time that I will always treasure.

I just came back from this hotel, more than a stay it is a complete experience of wellness as the name of the hotel indicates. Personnel is kind, always willing to support you, they give you a very personal service and treatment. I spent my birthday in the hotel and I was surprised by the personnel during dinner time! I would say that it is like an all inclusive hotel where you can stay and not only overnight. For people loving taking pics, it is a Paradise. Highly RECOMMENDED. I whereby thank the hotel and its staff.

Room Tip: do not forget to book for a massage at the spa!

This hotel was an oasis and true 5-star experience! Built around an historic hacienda, the resort offers both colonial and modern rooms. Our modern room was the finest hotel room we experienced in our month-long visit to So. America - offering a separate shower/soaking tub room, spacious accommodations, and a full glass wall with a view of the pond outside and the surrounding majestic green mountains. The lush landscaped grounds are a joy to explore and include an orchard, llamas, macaws, peacocks and a colonial church with gold-leaf two story altar piece and bell tower. This added greatly to the warmth and ambience of the resort. We stayed for three nights to allow time to explore all the Inca sites in the Sacred Valley and looked forward to our return and dinner at the hotel each evening. They even have a cinema where you can view movies upon request, accompanied by complimentary fresh popcorn. The staff are extremely friendly and offer top-notch service and fine dining. The location is in the countryside of the valley away from local towns. If headed to Inca sites or Ollantaytambo to catch the train to Machu Picchu, driving time is involved - but worth it. This resort is not to be missed!

Room Tip: Request a modern room with a view of the mountains.
