This is one of the best hotels we've stayed in. You can get info on its facilities and beautiful rooms in other reviews, what I wanted to point out is that this hotel is quite isolated. The road to get it is a dirty road and there is no way you'll be able to go out on your own. You'll need a taxi to go anywhere. Urubamba has little to see and view, so if you're going to visit the sacred valley you'll need a taxi to go to Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Maras y Moray. The hotel works with a taxi company that is quite expensive, after the first times we went with them, we found another taxi that was as good and much cheaper. To go to Pisac you'll need 30-45 mins and the same to go to Ollantaytambo so, despite it's in the middle of Sacred Valley, it's not very convenient. We spent a lot for taxis so make sure you're willing to pay much extra in transport to be able to stay in such magnificent hotel.
One important tip: if you want to get transportation from Cusco airport to the hotel, make sure you ask the hotel to book a taxi for you; please specify this so they won't send you the Hotel taxi, which is 65 USD vs 33 USD (90 soles) of the normal taxi. We didn't know this and they sent us their van for 65 USD, because our flight from Lima (please avoid flying with TACA if you can) got cancelled, the hotel told us that we had to pay the taxi that came to pick us up (which is fair). When they asked if we wanted them to come back the following day, we said no because their taxi would have been too much expensive, at that point they said it would be only 90 soles, so I thought I misunderstood the initial price and said I would be happy to pay them the 90 soles of the first day and the 90 soles of the following day, which they confirmed. At check out they charged 50 USD instead of 90 soles, saying it wasn't true that they confirmed that we had to pay 180 soles. WE didn't argue and paid but left a bit disappointed.
Overall is a good hotel, if you look for a more lively location, look at Ollantaytambo instead.

Room Tip: Rooms in the colonial part are nicer

A most relaxing spot tucked away in the Sacred Valley. Driving in you can't believe this santuary exists. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Wish we would have stayed for more than one night.

This was a welcome oasis after a long, dusty-dry trip from Cusco. It is a casual but super deluxe place with good food and lots of amenities. Treat yourself. There are other options in Sacred Valley, but this one takes the cake - not only is it the most deluxe, but the views from this place are stunningly beautiful.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms!

We were picked up from the Cusco airport by the resort and the driver provided excellent service and brought us to some lookout points. Upon arriving to the resort we were blown away by how beautiful it was. It's in great condition and you can tell that they upkeep it. We stayed in a suite, and the management put us into the best room available. The view was absolutely spectacular. Although there isn't much to do at the resort, the management called us a local taxi that costed approximately $70 US for a near-full day to visit all the local sites (well worth it, but it will cost you a bit!). The food was reasonably priced and was good. It was my mom's birthday and the chef made her a cake (upon request and on the house)... which was one of the best cakes that we have ever had. And at night time there is a live performance of local music, which made me evening every night. Service was excellent on all levels. The only thing that could make it better if the food was all inclusive or if they had a buffet style lunch/dinner. This could be difficult because for 2 days of our stay there were very few people... but by the 3rd night there was a huge group of over 100 tourists. I'm so happy I booked this resort!

Room Tip: Request a room on the highest floor if you're getting a suite. The ceilings are much higher.

We spent 1 night here in our honey moon. It's absolutely fantastic.

The spa is terrific (remember to call previously reservation) and the facilities are astonishing. There's even an authentic chapel and hacienda that you can visit! It's really special to stroll inside the hotel with the pools, the flowers, and surrounded by the mountains in the Sacred Valley.

The bar is really cool and the dishes and the cocktails highly recommendable. You can also try to climb to the bell tower and take some beautiful pictures at night.

The staff was really nice and kind with us when they knew we were honeymooning, that made our stay absolutely unforgettable.

Tip: If you can, reserve the spa in advance and spend the full day in the hotel. A few hours won't be enough.

The Aranwa in Cusco is fantastic as well, but different, cause obviously this one's much bigger and with a different landscape.

Really good.

Our family had a fantastic three nights stay at this beautiful hotel. The peacocks, lamas, and parrots roaming around in the gardens were a great hit with my children. It was not easy finding a nice hotel that allowed you to share your room with your children but this hotel had very spacious rooms to accommodate us all. Our only problem during our stay was a mix up with our reservation and the front staff handled it very poorly. However, the management more than made up for their mistake and the resulting inconvenience we experienced. In fact, the manager personally took our children fishing while we waited for a late car. I know this is a relatively new hotel but I hope the great service of the hotel remains even after they have been in business for a while and become very busy.

Our group was headed for Machu Piccu and other tourist attractions so we did not have much time to really appreciate what is available at this resort. The grounds are beautiful with peacocks and parots among flowers and shrubs. There is a beautiful spa offering every type of massage, body wrap/soak, acupuncture, energy assessments, etc. The pool and hot tub are tasteful. Surrounding the resort are magnificent mountains, river and farms. One drawback with the room was the persistence of tiny flies and some mosquitos. If you can overlook this the bathrooms are fantastic. There is a whirlpool tub and a lovely rainshower beside it that is to die for after climbing around ruins, etc. As usual the food was great and prices were very reasonable. Room service was almost ridiculously affordable.

Room Tip: If you don't want to climb stairs ask for a ground floor room. The buildings are all two story...
