On the main road, doesnt look like anything special from the outside but worth a visit. the owner speaks good English & is a real foodie. the food is excellent and a great range of good value local wines are available too. inside its a bit chilly and dimly lit. the loo is downstairs outside in the garden which was freezing. overall really great meal

If you don't want to eat at the Inka del Tambo, just head out the main gates, turn left, and walk about 80 meters to the Tres Keros across the street. This place serves beef, lamb, chicken, trout (brook trout? brook salmon?), and a couple of pastas and salads. Good solid food but nothing really too special. Nice stiff pisco sours sets the mood, and their butter is quite amazing as well.

We had their house salad, which was probably the best thing we had that night. We also had the lomo saltado, and the trout with pepper sauce and black butter. Those were just alright. Throw in a couple pisco sours and our bill was around 150 soles. Pretty good value, compared to the hotel.

Dark, romantic setting with a fireplace for a good meal with your loved ones. Dining room can get a little smoky from the kitchen, so no real need to dress up for dinner. Just don't set your expectations too high given the ratings, and I'm sure you will find it quite acceptable.

Tres Keros was the perfect location for a post-Machu Picchu hike dinner. It's located on the cozy second floor of an unobtrusive building. We had a lovely time chatting with the gregarious owner, Ricardo, who stopped by every guest's table to check-in on things.

We were staying at Tambo del Inka and wanted to get out of the compound, and Tres Keros was a great option for this. It's within a five minute walk and the prices and food definitely beat what's at Tambo del Inka.

I would highly recommend the lomo saltado.

The food is not good and the restaurant was poorly decorated. If I could I will give it 0 starts. There are several better places in Urubamba.

This restaurant is in an unobtrusive building on the main road through the valley. Inside the front entrance you’ll find a courtyard and stairs. Up the stairs is the warm dining room with the effusively friendly chef and owner, Ricardo, who does everything possible to make guests feel welcome.

We were seated at a table by the fireplace and brought a basket of bread with home made butter. By our third day in Peru I was ready for some vegetables so I ordered the salad with avocado, asparagus and hearts of palm and a shallot vinaigrette along with a delicious passion fruit sour. I was not disappointed in either. The salad was exactly what I was craving and was fresh and flavorful. My husband had the traditional lomo saltado made with beef filet and was pleased with his choice. In the middle of the meal a small taste of prawn risotto appeared, a gift from the owner.
