We had a pleasant stay here - we were happy with the room, beds were comfortable and the bathroom very good, with a great hot shower with good water pressure. There were hardly any staff around and we often had to wait for service at the front desk. On the whole our stay was good, but I do think it was pricey compared to other equally as good places we have stayed in while in Peru.

I loved Chaska! Great atmosphere, like the zen/yoga style of the place. Courtyard has grass, lots of flowers, a cabana...beautiful. Mountains on all sides, great location, great staff. Birds singing all day, very comfortable. Room cozy, hot showers, good water pressure, clean rooms..

Room Tip: try to get one without a light right outside the window...

This hotel is in the very center of town. Although in the main road, right where you can catch the buses and vans out of town, it has a big nicely arranged garden, where you can lounge around, read a book, etc.

Our room was nicely decorated, with a mix of Andean elements and Indian details. The view goes out to the river and mountains: from the room itself you can observe the buzz of locals and tourists crossing the bridge, arriving into town, and going about their daily errands. Pisac is a very picturesque town!

To inspire relaxation and create the mood for meditation, Chaska has adopted a lot of Hindu related decorative items and wall posters. What's more, they even have a meditation room!

Common areas of the hotel include a well equipped kitchen and dinning room, on the lower ground by the garden. Currently, breakfast is not included in the room, but you do have all the facilities needed to prepare yourself a bite. There is even a grocery right next door and ladies selling bread on the streets since early morning. There are also a lot of restaurants and cafes right outside.

This is a perfect place to stay at while exploring Pisac: the main town square where the Sunday market is held is less than 5 minutes away walking and there are taxis right outside that can take you up to the Pisac Ruins.

I went with my husband and three kids (10, 8 and 2 months old) for a weekend. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Good location specially considering we were moving around with three children. The staff was very nice, always trying to help and making your visit more pleasant. We were looking for a nice place in the valley, kid friendly and obviously affordable. We had some options but what caught my eye about this hotel was the nice small colorful garden. The kids loved and enjoyed playing out there. The bathtub was an unexpected super bonus. I would have loved to stay longer.

Room Tip: The rooms to the side of the river have better view, more light and are quieter.

Great!
Like last time, i find this hostel, pacefull, best location for getting if you're coming from Cusco or Sacred Valley, next to the river, great sightseens... And the people who take care of you in, trying to make your time there very pleaseant...

But the best... from last year is still better! The garden, the new coffe-bar and hall... Some rooms have been painted and decorated in different way that it was before... they are trying not to settle and keeping moving... even for somebody who was before, staying here is like new and better... Few options of rooms, clean and quiet.

When you arrive in the Sacred Valley you are waiting for feeling something 'special'... here is the place! You stay one or more days (not nights, days, because you want to approach also time in the town and in tis hostel, with the people you get there), and is the best begining for feeling the energy of this special place of the Andes and the Inka Emperor...

Now i know why this is call the Sacred Valley of the Inkas... Is a Good chance for a big change in the state of you mind

Keep going, my friends!!

Jajo

Room Tip: With the window watching the river, all ofthem have the door in the garden side... great waking up i...

I have mixed feelings about this hotel.

The good things: The location is great - our room had views of the river and it's right in the centre. The grounds are also nice. Our room was probably the nicest we stayed in and the bathroom was big and light. Good value for money.

The bad things: The bed was really uncomfortable. It had a thick plastic sheet on and the matress wasn't of very good quality. The hotel ask for 15 soles for a deposit for the key. Staff are not available for checkout until 0930 am, so if you want to leave earlier, you lose your deposit. It was also a shame that breakfast wasn't included.

My partner and I loved staying here, we wished we could have stayed longer than one night! Great value ($35/night) and great location (on main road, just 5min walk from the main square in Pisac). Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower had high pressure and hot water. The staff were helpful is answering questions about things to do and how to get around the area.
