We came to Melissa Wasi with our 4 children (2 teens and 2 kids) and with brother and sisters with same ages children. Our large group had a great time there. The hosts are so welcoming. The breakfast is really excellent, the garden is beautifull with a play ground area for the youngest, and the teens can easily walk to shop in the village using a nice path along the river. The place is peacefull and really relaxing after a long day exploring the historical rich area. A really great place to stay!

We wanted to visit Pisac while on our journey to Machi Picchu and found Melissa Wasi online. It was beyond our wildest expectations. The home is beautiful, open and inviting and the surrounding property is lovely. Our hosts treated us like members of the family giving us excellent advice on places to see. Even the dog was friendly! We enjoyed our visit so much that we plan on returning soon with a group of friends.

What a treat! This facility, the owners, the breakfast, the warmth and genuine hospitality - all were great! We fortunately ran across this place on a web search and it was a really good place to stay: out of town enough to get peace and quiet but close enough to go into town for anything needed. Wasi is Quechuan for House and the compound is only a few years old; nestled among a Eucalyptus grove, it is very picturesque - and the gardens were beautifully groomed. A TV room in the loft with cable and lots of help and ideas and input from Joyce and Chito, the owners and parents of Melissa, their daughter who is a busy entrepreneur.

I can summarize my experience with the desire that I had to return without having gone yet. It has the best location in Pisac, expects the best care and comfort, you can relax in bungalows or with the family atmosphere of the house, I enjoyed both. Melissa's restaurant in the plaza, is the best place to eat well, drink a glass of wine or a good tea on the terrace. www.desafioapus.com

When we arrived to the gates of Melissa Wasi, we had no idea what we would find. Once opened we were transported into the most amazing zen property I have ever steeped foot onto (and I have traveled extensively). Joyce, Melissa and the staff are a delight to be around and they are so accommodating, helping us make taxi arrangements, travel plans, outings, etc. The rooms were perfect. they placed the teenagers away from our room, which was lovely. Breakfast each morning was like visiting with family. Melissa's restaurant, Blue llama, in town also has superb food and a cool atmosphere. I highly recommend staying here and I cant imagine ever staying anywhere else.
