Cecilia is the consummate hostess. My husband and I consider our brief stay at La Casa del Conde a highlight of our month long visit to Peru. Cecilia runs a delightful bed and breakfast. We stayed in her bungalow for two. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and bedroom were comfortably appointed. The breakfast was bountiful and delicious. Cecilia helped us with information about how best to visit the Pisac ruins and where to go for quality alpaca products. She was a big help to us. Her garden is amazing. Guests enter her property to walk up a path bound by beautiful flower beds and a lovely lawn. We were so glad to have had the opportunity to stay at Casa del Conde. Thank you Cecilia! :-)

I stayed at the "Casa" in early August, 2011 with my son and friend. I was impressed with every aspect of this lovely bed and breakfast. Cecilia is a wonderful hostess and it is evident that she goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable. The setting is magnificent, with high mountains, and beautiful flower gardens in the background. Pisac
is an intriguing little town, and the entry on the dirt road just makes the whole adventure more intriguing. The breakfasts are the best in Peru, and the service is impeccable.
I will dream of when I can return to this spot!

La Casa del Conde may be the most perfect place we have ever stayed. My wife and I stayed here for three nights at the end of July 2011 to celebrate our 15th anniversary and to acclimatize to the altitude before hiking up to Machu Picchu. From the moment we walked into the beautiful gardens, we knew we had made the right choice.

We had made arrangements with Cecilia to get a ride from the airport in Cusco, and even though we were over an hour late, our driver was waiting with a smile to take us to Pisac. Once we arrived, we were welcomed with a huge smile from Nora (she prepared the meals and tidied the rooms, but was a constant friendly presence during our stay) and an even bigger hug from Cecilia who was genuinely happy that we had decided to spend our anniversary with her. It felt like we were being greeted by long-lost family.

Our bungalow was clean and comfortable and situated away from the main house and other cabins, so it was like we had our own home in the middle of a secret garden. Each morning, we awoke to the birds singing and the sun shining down on the surrounding mountains – it was magical.

Cecilia was always willing to provide helpful advice on where to go in the Sacred Valley, and made arrangements with a trust-worthy driver to chauffer us around (ask for Wilber, he didn’t speak any English, but he was very kind and made a genuine effort to point out sites that might be of interest). On the night of our anniversary, Cecilia and Nora spent the whole day preparing a delicious Peruvian feast and went out of their way to make the night unforgettable – with flowers, wine and (by far) the best Pisco Sours we had anywhere in Peru.

For those looking for five star luxury amenities, this is not the place for you. But, if you are looking for an unforgettable, authentic experience with a limitless supply of Peruvian hospitality, La Casa del Conde will far exceed any expectations! It is truly a little piece of paradise. Many thanks again to Cecilia and Nora for an amazing dinner and stay!

Imagine traveling half-way around the world on plane, bus and taxi, then knocking on a door and entering a place of tranquility where you in just moments are made to feel like a long lost family member. That's Casa del Conde. My family and I visited the Sacred Valley in early July. We stayed in several hotels in Pisac, Yucay, Ollantaytambo and Aquas Caliente. All paled in comparison to the hospitality, cleanliness, service and care that we received at Casa del Conde. Cecilia greeted us with open arms (quite literally) when we arrived. She and Nora prepared two dinners emphasizing the local cuisine and while we relaxed over dessert even placed hot water bottles in our oh so comfortable beds (if Cecilia tells you she makes the best Pisco Sours in Peru, don't pass on the offer--she's absolutely right!) In the morning we were greeted with delicious breakfasts, recommendations for the days adventure and assistance with taxis and hiking (here I offer up another recommendation...if you need a taxi, ask Cecilia to contact Nosario for you...she introduced us to him on our first day and he was the finest, most patient driver I've used anywhere!). If at all possible, make a point of staying at the Casa during any visit to the Pisac area. It is an absolutely magical place.

We stayed in Casa Del Conde in june 2011 for 4 nights. We were very surprised when we entered the door of the wall around the garden : it was like coming into paradise . After a very warm welcome of Cecilia we felt immediately at home . The surrounding is great, a fantastic place, about 500 m from the city, so no noise to sleep and sit in the garden, a very clean and comfortable room with private bathroom in a private house. Every morning you get a big! breakfast with some homemade yoghurt - the best in Peru ! Very nice bread, fruits, honey, eggs, homemade marmelade, coffee, tea, everything is there. We also had dinner in the guesthouse every evening, too lazy to get to the village and now we were sure that the food was fresh and we got to know the typical Peruvian food . The beds are very good, and every evening Cecilia brings you warm water bottles to keep warm during the cold nights. She looks after you like a mother . Cecilia can arrange transport with a very reliable taxidriver who drives very safe . We even spend a whole afternoon just enjoying the wonderfull garden, together with the dog "Conde". When you are hungry, Norah makes you a delicious lunch. This place was the best adress we had in our entire trip to Peru ! Thanks dear Cecilia and Norah !

Stayed here for two nights ($50 per night inc breakfast) in a small bungalow. Was comfortable with en suite and a really nice breakfast. The owner, Cecilia, was away but we were well looked after. Cecilia even called as we checked out to see if we had had a nice stay. It is a very personal service with hot water bottles delivered to the room at night. The weather was a bit poor while we were there but we sat under the porch looking out at the lovely gardens. Perfect little escape from business of Cusco.

This is the ONLY place to stay - idyllic, charming, romantic, relaxing, convenient - we LOVED it!
Buses arrive daily to Pisac from Cusco especially for Tuesday's and Sunday's market -full of tourists - yet staying here gave us the flexibility to get up to the Pisac ruins (enjoyed them as much as Machu Picchu!!!!) as soon as the park opened at 7 am- we were the only ones there and the first bus appeared around 10 am as we were leaving. Cecilia booked us a driver : Nazario, he knew everybody - we got the best guide for the ruin - the guide distilles 50kg of the plant Muna into a little oil bottle (be sure to look for the young man selling it at the plaza) which cured the altitude sickness and nausea I felt at Lake Titicaca.
Cecilia was lots of fun - We went with my brother and sister in law plus a coworker - we had a blast! It was having a big party at home. Nora the cook made sure we had breakfast at any time we wanted and the meals surpassed the quality of all restaurants in the area. The pictures on this site don't make it justice- it had sooo many flowers: an oasis - everythig it said on the reviews plus so much more.
I have already told friends that are going next: Book Here!!
