“Clean restaurant in the plaza”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2013

The food was good. The prices were reasonable. The location is on the plaza. Our waitress was fourteen years old and she did a great job.

“Ideal place to have breakfast or snack”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2013

We were looking for a decent place to have breakfast in Ollantayttambo after tiring 4 days on the Inca trail. La Esquina looked lovely and we wandered in. The place is quite small (so may seem little crowded), but really friendly and homey. They serve a large variety of dishes for breakfast, we tried different (there were 6 of us) and all the choices were very tasty. Take your time - getting the food takes quite long since there´s only one person cooking. However, the result was well worth the waiting.

Their hot chocolate is amazing!

Additionally, there´s free wifi on the spot.

Highly recommended.

“Great food, coffee and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

We ended up eating here three times as it was so good. Their toasted sandwiches are divine (the grilled chicken, caramelised onions and homemade chutney is awesome) and the owner is lovely and a great source of local info. Definitely visit if you're in Ollantaytambo.

“Cool place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013

Excellent service, very friendly and including providing speedy take-away for us to take to an exhausted son back at our hotel. Delicious salads and perhaps the best Pisco Sour I had in Peru. The only place we went to in Peru which offers free filtered water as an alternative to buying bottled.
