In most ways apart from the room which was basic but clean. Complementary wifi, good selection of drinks behind the bar and handy location for town make this a good budget choice

We stayed at Inkas Garden for one night as part of a GAP adventures trip.

It was already clear to us that GAP don't like spending on hotels, but sadly I think this one is pushing the boundaries for me!

On the plus side out bed was ok and the sheets appeared clean. We were also in a good location fairly near the centre of town and the hotel has free wifi. The staff were friendly too.

On the down side, the rooms are tiny and the walls paper thin. The whole external wall of our room shook, just when you closed the door. You also have no secrets with your neighbours!

The showers took 5 minutes (that is genuinely 5 minutes - as per hotel staff!) to warm up and our bathroom stunk. Don't know what of, but it wasn't nice.

Finally me and a couple of others of our group noticed a rat or two scurrying about the Inkas Garden whilst having a beer in the "bar", and this can never be a good thing. So in summary, shame on GAP, and this hotel probably best avoided!

We stayed for one night on our GAP adventures tour before heading off to do the Inca Trail. This was certainly one night too many and there must be better places to stay in Ollantaytambo. Although the staff all seemed very friendly and helpful, standards were just woefully short of what should be expected of a hotel in such a wonderful location. The rooms are very basic (unless you are lucky enough to get the large one depicted on their website - another couple with us got this one and it seemed fine) and our bathroom so smelly that we couldn't use it. Would definately go back to Ollantaytambo, a beautiful place, but would absolutely avoid this hotel.

Stayed here as part of GAP Adventures Inca Trail tour. The hotel was basic but clean. Wasnt sure we were going to get hot water at one stage as when you first turn the tap on nothing happened but the front desk advised us we need to let it run about 5 minutes then it would warm up. The beds were warm and comfortable, the included breakfast included a freshly cooked egg which was nice, the location was ok (the town in so small you cant really be too far away from anything.
