Our host at the Ollantaytambo Lodge recommended the Panaka Griil to us for a late evening dinner. It was terrific. We were warmly greeted and seated. Our waiter was cheerful, gracious and helpful in explaining entrees and mains. He also introduced us to the best bottle of Peruvian wine that we had in our two week visit to Peru (Tabernero Gran Tinto Fina Reserva 2011). We had the set menu. The presentation of the plates was enough to create expectations of gustatory delights. They were met. Every bite was perfectly prepared and flavored. We savored our meals. They were the best we had in Peru.
