Lovely little hotel with a nice inner garden, clean rooms (though small) and adequate breakfast. Stayed here one night on our way to Aguas Calientes. For dinner, we went to the Heart Cafe (over the bridge and toward the main square) where they served very good food at a resonable price ... profits go to children's and women's programs in the valley.

Would stay here again.

Stayed in Room 303 (I think?) as part of a tour group.

Positive-
1) clean room
2) good location as it's very close to the main square

negative-
1) poor wifi in my room
2) the ventilation window in our bathroom was open when we checked in, and when we came back at night the whole bathroom was full of bugs flying above my head... not very pleasant... my friend roomed in Room 203, and it did not have any opening to outside, so they didn't have any bug issue that we had..

Room Tip: I think I would've preferred 2nd FL rooms... no bug issue

Stayed as part of a tour group for 1 night and really liked it. The bed was so comfortable with plenty of blankets. The room was big, & the shower was decent. Views from the hotel were lovely- Ollyantaytambo is a really nice little place. The courtyard in the hotel was lovely too. There is free wifi but it didn't work in my room- had to sit in lobby to connect. Breakfast wasn't great- just bread, coffee and a fried/scrambled egg. Overall a nice hotel

We stayed one night as part of an Intrepid tour. The room had 3 beds, a decent hot shower, and actually good internet connection in the room! No TV, but for one night it did not matter. On a quiet street just off the main square. Lots of places to eat. Breakfast was mediocre and minimal. Service staff did not want to be bothered, even to boil more water for the numerous tea drinkers in the group. When the pot was dry, they just ignored requests for any more water.

Rooms were standard, with high ceilings, nice views of the mountains and lots of warm bedding.

As this is the jumping off point for the train to Machu Pichu, they know that you are staying only briefly and will never be seen again. 10 walk to the train station.

We stayed one night at Tikawasi as part of a tour. After walking around the village a bit, we wanted to drink tea, but the staff could not be convinced to boil us a bit of water until our tour guide stepped in. Even then, they made a big thing out of it.

The hotel itself is very pretty, with a nice courtyard and an interesting room disposition. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, though a bit noisy. The bathrooms stink of moisture, unfortunately.

The hotel is located right near the Ollantaytambo Inca site and close enough to the train station to Machu Picchu.

Room Tip: The rooms that are in the courtyard are really special, but the other rooms are great too.

I spend one night in this hotel, before I started the Inca Trail, The hotel looks very new, it has a small garden with cozy chairs. The mattresses are comfortable and it has feather comforters.
The service is the low part of the hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms at the third floor are nicer and sunnier

Ollantaytambo is a quaint little place oozing classic Incan charm, complete with cobbled roads and narrow streets. The Hotel Tika Wasi Valley is nestled down one of these streets; a short walk from the main square.

Our room had a lovely high exposed timber ceiling and large windows with heavy curtains to keep the evening chill out. Our tastefully decorated room had two large single beds, or perhaps they were small double beds? Either way they were very comfortable with good pillows and lots of blankets. The layers of blankets were indeed a necessity as the room was not heated. Our room had an open wardrobe and a desk and chair. We didn’t have a TV nor did we miss not having one. In the evening we went for a stroll through the charming town and enjoyed a beautiful meal at ‘Living Heart’ before retiring for the night.

Breakfast was served in the dinning room and was the standard breakfast that seemed to be served in all hotels in Peru; cereal, yoghurt, rolls with butter and jam, and coffee.

Bottled water was available for purchase at reception and was reasonably priced.
