We went there on a Sunday evening (as many restaurants in Lima are closed then). The restaurant is located in Miraflores' Larcomar mall, which means it is build into the cliffs and has direct view towards the Pacific ocean. Nevertheless the decoration of the restaurant is more functional than romantic (especially compared to other seaside restaurants in Lima). The food however was very good. We shared an appetizer - cheese filled rice balls with "huancaina" sauce - and also an excellent dessert - three different types of "suspiro limeno". As the main course try the classic lomo saltado but with a new twist (either risotto or spaghetti with huancaina sauce). Probably also a good option if you are looking for a snack during your exhausting shopping tour or to finish it off with a relaxing cocktail.

We ordered lomo saltado, tequenos, ceviche, risotto and some other dishes. The risotto was not edible. We told the waiter and he took it away. The rest of the meal was not very good either. When the bill came the risotto was still on it. The waiter said "well the kitchen made it." At which I responded, "they made something that was made completely incorrectly and disgusting." after a discussion with the manager (who agreed after tasting it in the back) it was taken off. Unfortunately, the other dishes were not very good. The view is amazing. No doubt about that. Work on the food and they might have something.

Went today, and it seemed everyone was in a bad mood. We had 8 in our party and they seemed to have a problem seating us. They attempted to stick us in a far corner and once seated, the manager came and said we only had 1.5 hours to eat. We were not happy and went to Tony Romas. It was good. Disappointed in Mangos. We were treated poorly.

We decided to give Mango's a try after Trip Advisor reviews and we were very glad that we did. We requested an outdoor table and were seated almost immediately with a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean and the hills of Chorillos. While we missed sunset, we now know to be there by 5 or 5:30pm for the best sunset views.

Ordered the grilled octopus and mixed egg roll appetizers - Excellent. Mom had the chupe de mariscos (seafood soup) and raved about the authenticity in flavor. I had the sea bass with shrimp sauce and it was cooked perfectly and was packed with flavor. When matched with pisco and mango sours, it just set the perfect tone for dinner. Service was excellent; fast and very friendly with good suggestions and the right amount of table oversight.

Highly recommend for dinner. They also have a lunch buffet until 4 pm but be careful with outdoor seating during hot sun hours. Tables 99 or 100 offer ample shade - others, bring your sunblock and shades. Don't miss this place while at Larcomar.

Don't bother! We only ended up here after not getting into two restaurants that were recommended. This country and city are full of delicious food but this restaurant has food that isn't fresh and isn't as good as mall food in the USA. Skip it! Find somewhere else to go without a view.
