3 different people had recommended this restaurant, including 2 locals, when we were planning our trip so expectations were sky high when we came to Pescado Capitales. Luckily, the experience did not fall short.
The dining room is an airy, spacious areas with plenty of natural sunlight, so it feels like an outdoor dining experience with great ambience.
The menu is quite unique and witty in its descriptions and lends some personality to the experience, although almost to the point of being confusing at times. Luckily, the staff is very knowledgeable and can serve up recommendations.
We ordered the 3x3 cebiche and White Sea Bass with shrimp in creamy sauce, along with pisco sours, passion fruit juice and desert. Both entrees were tasty and fresh, especially the sea bass.
Definitely make reservations in advance for both lunch and dinner.
