Celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. We originally booked the 13-course tasting menu but then saw how big the portions were then switched to a la carte. I still couldn't finish my 3-course meal! We picked the "Road to Cacao" dessert and Astrid herself explained & described the different chocolates she sourced. What a great way to end our night.

A Peruvian culinary institution that should be visited if possible. We initially had a reservation for the bar only but the server was able to help us and find a spot for us in the restaurant which we were grateful for. From start to finish the service was impeccable as was the food. We didn't book enough in advance to get the tasting menu but had a number of the dishes off of it. If that is an option for you I'd suggest going that route. No matter what, don't skip the bread! It was one of the things on the menu that really stood out to us. Make sure you have a reservation though as you will have a hard time getting in otherwise.

Astrid y Gaston did not disappoint. We had already eaten at two other Gaston Acurio restaurants in Arequipa and Cusco, but this experience in Lima won the prize. Food taste and presentation were both excellent and very creative, and the service was exactly what one would expect in such a restaurant. Elegant, yet comfortable!

We had a lovely time at Astrid Y Gaston. It was toward the end of the trip, and we were tired, but the food was amazing! The fact that the food got us out of our tired spell, says something.

The atmosphere is very neat, with the open air mansion feel. The courtyard area is beautiful. Since this was the last thing we did before heading to the airport, I appreciated that the tasting experience lasted a very long time - it felt like a relaxing, long, afternoon lunch. Absolutely lovely!

The tribute to Lima menu was really cool. The food was beautifully plated, and everything we ate was lovely. I would highly recommend this restaurant as a leisurely experience, whether you're on vacation or just have a day free.

We went to Astrid & Gaston for my 50th birthday.
We ordered a Degustacion Menu with a Maridaje service(a match wine for each dish).
It was all perfect. The presentation, the service, the atmosphere.
At the end, Astrid gave me a gift for my birthday and she even took the time to seat with us and chat.
Great place, wonderful staff, I will go back again for sure.
Thank you Astrid, and Carlos for the unforgettable evening!
