Rafael was recommended to us by several people, so our expectations were high. We made a reservation and as we arrived we were seated, which was good since we have heard that some clients have experienced problems with their reservations. The restaurant is small and has a bar so the probabilities of experiencing some waiting time is high.
Some of our plates were really good. The Octopus, the calamari and the goat cheese gnocchis were really good appetizers. The Salmon satay and the tuna and buffala montaditos not as good. For the main plates most were ok, but none to remember.
Service was really good, although neither the appetizers nor the main plates came together (some people had to eat first while the rest of the plates arrived).
The restaurant is expensive for to the lack of decor, the portions and the quality of the food overall. If you have tried many other restaurants, this is an option you can try. If you are looking for the top restaurants in Lima, this is not in the top 10 in my opinion.
