We stayed at Hotel Runcu for Three nights in early March. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with everything. We stayed in room 204 with the windows wide open. It might be loud for some given that there is a traffic circle close to the hotel. The room is just big enough to be comfortable, and will fit your needs for excursions around the city. The restaurant prepared some excellent food, and they make a mean pisco sour.
Side note, there is a little bodega across the street with baked goods, drinks, liquor, and other assorted items. They're also friendly.More
