Owner description: Like Chinatowns in other countries, Lima's two-block Chinatown is the place to go for Chinese cuisine. The area has undergone a renaissance in recent years after a 1997 renovation in preparation for the 150th anniversary of Chinese immigration to Peru.

“Nothing special to see”
Reviewed January 27, 2012

It is just a normal Chinatown. Shops selling food and tat, restaurants serving Chifa and not much else. There is nothing particularly touristy there, but we had a nice enough half an hour walking around the area.
