A lovely little park not far vrom the hotel where I am staying. Located next to a bridge which I was told used to be a launch site for those not so lucky in love who would plunge to their death. Now there are plexiglass barriers to prevent this!

One can only imagine the stir that Victor Delfin's sculpture, El Beso, may have caused when it first appeared in El Parque del Amor in the popular Miraflores area. Both locals and tourists enjoy this spectacular sight. Take time to read some of the sayings written by locals on the mosaic walls of this park. It's said that on Valentine's Day, mass-weddings are performed here. Well worth your time, so include this one on your list of places to visit in Lima.
Thought up as an improvement to the long beach from, there is a huge statue of lovers embracing. Photo op. Not recommended by our guide for a night stop.
A relaxing place, with an amazing view. Close to everything. (But not somewhere I would go to spesifically. But nice place to stop while passing by).
I had an afternoon to spend before a flight and enjoyed visiting this park and actually walking here to Larcomar. The views are great. The park has lovely mosaic benches that curve much like Gaudi in Barcelona. The statue of the lovers kissing is cool. It was nice, but when my family joined me a few weeks later and we had an afternoon in Lima, we did not go here. We chose to visit other places. So, if you have time - see it.
The park itself is not spectacular. Quite small with some nice mosaic work derivative of Gaudi. What I did find were gorgeous views of the Pacific, particularly looking North. The sweeping views included the skyscrapers of the city, the jagged cliffs, and a small lighthouse in the next seaside park north of this one. I recommend using this park as a starting point for a stroll south along the coastline to the LarcoMar with plenty of stops to look back behind you and take photos. Such an enjoyable afternoon!
