We stayed here after landing in Lima, with plans to fly to Cuzco the next morning. It is one of the closer options, and we arranged with the suites a pick up from the airport which was convenient. The room was basic with a kitchenette and comfy bed. Don't expect five star decor here. The lady who dealt with us on our arrival was superb. We were very tired and hungry, and she had us checked in quickly and even ordered pizza for us. Perfect for the overnight stay between transit.

We booked Machu Picchu suites for a short overnight stay between flights in Lima. An official taxi gets you there for 25 Soles, a better option than the 14 US$ pickup service, with additional costs for waiting due to delayed flights etc, offered by the hotel.

Our taxi took us about 15 minutes to get there, with no traffic to speak off (it was around 11 pm), I guess it could easily be double that time if there are some traffic, concerning lots of intersections etc. along the way.

Staff was helpful when we arrived, but apparently the hotel charges an extra 10 % "service fee" although the price on our reservation from hotels.com clearly stated the price included taxes & fees.

The sleeping room had no curtains so lights from the street and neigbouringrooms disturbed our sleep quite a lot.

The transfer back to the airport took around 25 minutes, mostly due to queing at the airport entrance. Since it was around 4.30 am, there was absolutely no traffic on the way to the airport, so once again the specified "10 minutes from the airport" are pretty optimistic, to say the least.

We booked Machu Picchu Suites because we were arriving in Lima at midnight and leaving the next morning at 8 am. Did not want to pay for an expensive hotel since we would not have an opportunity to enjoy it. the bed was really really hard, never quite felt anything like it. Room was clean enough, hotel seemed to be in rough part of town. There was musci playing across the street all night and sirens could be heard. I didn't get the good night sleep I was hoping for and wished I had spent a few dollars more for better hotel . Breakfast was a hot ham and cheese sandwich delivered to our room. However, we do not eat ham.

We arrived Lima late at night and need to take an early flight the next morning to Cuzco. This place is almost the perfect for our needs. They can arrange private car pick up from airport which costs USD 14 per car and send us back to airport the next morning with the same price. Only 10 mins by car it's very close. The room was clean, bathroom was clean with stable hot water shower. with hair dryer and reasonsble price to get some bottled water n snacks. They have a little kitchen with pots, pans n forks etc so we can make some simple food. Our flight was delayed so we need to update them about the pick up time and they are very attentive on both emails n phone calls. As our morning flight was really early we couldn't hv the breakfast at hotel so they gave us a pack of snacks with yogurt, juice n crackers inside for us. the wifi didn't really work on my iPhone but they hv two computers there where you can get online whenever you want. If I really need to complain about something, it would be that they allowed the driver to overcharged us without doing anything. I am a bit pissed off when I need to deal with the driver who tries everything he can to over charge us and pretend not understand English when we discussed with him while he speaks perfect English when telling us why we need to pay more than what was agreed.

My husband and I stayed at the suites for a week. Our family lives within a mile so it was convenient for us. Breakfast was a toasted ham and cheese sandwich for each of us with juice and tea delivered to our door evey morning. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, can't complain. My husband became very ill on our trip and the hotel was able to provide him some pills that made him feel better very quickly. They were a life saver. I thought the cost was reasonable at 50 US dollars per night, my Peruvian husband thinks it was a little over priced for the area.

My only real complaint it there is a gate that we were given a key for, (gates are necessary for safety in this area.) but there are multiple doors in the gate that the staff and/or other guests would use and not lock.

Hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport.

I would recommend this hotel.

This was the most costly among all the hotel/hostels we stayed in Peru but dint live up to the price. On arrival we were told that an extra 10% needs to be paid which the hotel charges as a service fee. There was no mention of this when we had booked via hostelworld.

The room was actually a suite but very cramped up with 'things' almost gave you claustrophobia.
The hotel is located conveniently to the main thoroughfare and you can walk down to a Norky's.
The break fast served was good.

The charges for pickup from bus station and drop off to airport was much more than you would have paid on your own.
