They greet you with free cocoa tea! so yummy and give you a tour of the little museum. There are classes available to learn how to make chocolate - but we just decided to eat a ton of chocolate at the café. Delicious!

“Bad chocolate”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

Maybe it is a good experience for the kids to go and do the couple of hours worth of chocolate making project(for a good fee!). But I promise you that it does not have anything more to offer.

“From cocoa bean to chocolate bar!”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

We took a chocolate making class and it was quite nice. The instructor gave thorough explanations of everything and seemed quite knowledgeable. (Although I don't really recommend taking a bite of the raw cocoa beans--sooo bitter). It was a great experience and the tea they make from cocoa bean husks is fantastic.

“Each location is unique and special!”
Reviewed August 1, 2014

We first found the Choco Museo location in Cusco, and enjoyed the samples. Then we discovered the Lima location, and were impressed with the samples, the tour, and the display that taught about the cacao trees, flowers, and the chocolate making process. Just when we thought we'd seen it all, we found the Choco Museo in the Barranco district. This store includes the small factory where they make the products sold in each of the other stores. Another great tour and sampling. Eventhough we've seen them all, we'll visit again when we're in the area - it's free, and the samples are tasty!

“Better for families”
Reviewed July 30, 2014

Lots of fun but probably better if you had kids with you. Wouldn't see it as a destination place but great for a short visit if you are in the area.
