Quite hard to communicate being English to the owner after arriving at midday. The hotel is a bit overpriced for what it is, a boutique hotel it is not, more of a guesthouse. Room was decent size and comfy and bathroom was ok. The pool is shocking and more of a bath with the size of it but the hotel is in a good area. Generally there are better places to stay for this price

We changed to F1 Hotel Boutique from a relative bad hostel closed-by, so it was sort of last minute deal. F1 Hotel Boutique was nice, friendly staff, room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were supposed to check in at 13:00, but we arrived at 08:00, hoped to drop our luggage and walked around. The hotel was very generous, they let us to check in the room and even offered us breakfast. We stayed there for a night before we headed to Cusco. Overall experience was good.

Good Points: The staff was excelent and helped us a lot when we were not sure where to go to. Th room was good given the price we paid: it has a nice size and was really clean, the bed, the bathroom and he shower were ok. The location is excellent, it is in a walking distance from the main atractions in Miraflores. Having the common kitchen there was also great.

Bad Points: Due to the location near an important avenue, there was some noise during the night. It is also a calm place, so I don´t recommend it if you wanna a "hostel atmosfere".

Room Tip: Ask for a room with little noise.

We have been travelling for a year and this was one of the few times that the Tripadvisor reviews didn't make any sense. We paid $70 for a room that hadn't been renovated in years, smelled mouldy, in serious need of painting, and didn't have a private bathroom (contrary to the photos we saw). It is a good location, but was probably worth $35... not $70!

I had a layover in Lima and needed a place where I could work on the internet and relax. Great bed, towels, a fridge and flatscreen TV, and a marvelous steam sauna. (I got a private room which had a bathroom, though hostel beds were available.)

It's a fine location, a few blocks from the malecon and on the same block as a very good seafood restaurant.

Lovely, friendly people. I would stay here again without hesitation and recommend this to anyone arriving in Peru.

This is an older home that has been remodeled into a nice hostel. The staff is English proficient. It is centrally located in Miraflores, near to all shopping, eating and sight-seeing. The room was very nicely appointed with a very large comfortable bed. Everything was squeaky clean. A simple breakfast was served every morning. The staff and owners were obliging. I would stay here again due to the cleanliness and the location. I felt that the price was somewhat high for the area and the facilities, but all in all this was an enjoyable experience.

Room Tip: There are two large rooms which are advertised at $45 per person but the cost is $90 per night wheth...
