“Sculptures, paintings and arrangements of significant beauty”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

Colonial sculptures, paintings and arrangements of significant beauty. In the district of Barranco, easy path and unique pieces, beautiful .
Enjoy a large frame, which takes an entire side of back of the room 8, if I mistake not, and stay tuned with the religious INTERPRETATION given to Spanish conquistadors on indigenous peoples.
The gardens are part of something, I indicate that sit in some bank and enjoy the birds singing, inviting to relax and reflect.
Pleasant surroundings and a home, the home of the Museum, beautiful architecture (mansion) in white marble.
I recommend visiting.

“Lovely place”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

This lovely museum contains many treasures and the small rooms make viewing the art an intimate experience. Just a short walk from "downtown" Barranco, it's definitely worth checking out.

“Don't Miss”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

The museum is located in the Barranco district. Located in a lovely villa with handsome wood floors. The many rooms have galleries with paintings from well know artists, sculptures, furniture, silver and more. The silver area is breath taking. Plan on least an hour to get a quick view of all galleries. We strolled throughout in 1 1/2 housrs. Admission is S/20 but worth it.

“Get religious”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

..and walk around watching religious art. A very nice building reminding of a creamy weddingcake - but really an oasis in the middle of the noisiest part of Barranco
