“Worth the visit”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

The tour lasts for an hour and the entrance fee is 12sol or 5USD. We had a English tour, and she first introduced some original fruit trees, vegetables, and the animals, like alpaca and guinea pigs. According to her, there were white, brown and green cottons, but the green ones are extinction. The ruins are magnificent, and the bricks are 90% original (made by seashell and dirt). We enjoy seeing how the ancient people live and their activities.

“Cool for being in the city”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

Huaca Pucllana offered a neat contrast between its ancient history and its surrounding modern neighborhood. I would go again for the cool pictures you can take of this contrast.

“Really interesting pre-Incan ruins”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

This was a really interesting tour of some pre-Incan ruins built by the Limas. Our tour guide (in English) was good and funny. The ruins are quite impression. There is a restaurant that looked out over the ruins. The ruins were originally thought just to be a big hill, underneath they found and really impressive structure.

“It was unique”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

Although, historically it didn't appear to have a big influence. Incas discarded this place as it didn't meet there culture. Having said that, I have never seen anything like it. The stone work, the way the structures were made....quite unique. Worth a visit.

“Very interesting”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

My husband and I did a tour of these ruins and found it fascinating. While it was not a highlight of our visit to Lima, it was very interesting and I do recommend it.
