Beautiful museum to start our travels across Peru. It gave a great overview with excellent pieces on display from the periods. I'm thrilled that Ferd of Amor Al Peru Travel also chose this place for lunch. The wait staff was attentive, the food was delicious, and it had one of my favorite Pisco sours of the whole trip. Plus, it was in an outdoor sheltered setting that was simply gorgeous. Ferd also had arranged for a guide who was well versed on this tour, as well as all the arrangements for tickets. He really pampered us across Peru with excellent travelling vehicles and drivers, and guides.

Would recommend watching the intro video at the start, we watched this at the end as was in another language when we were first passing! Beautiful garden, interesting exhibits, displaying all of Peru history, colourful and kept my interest throughout, erotic room is different, good shop and cafe,

The museum has an extensive collection of Inca artifacts. There were lots of pottery, jewelry, clothing and other artifacts to see. The grounds were beautiful to walk around.

We spent two full days in Lima and the Larco Museum was on our list. We went at the end of our trip, which made it a very nice recap of our visit to Peru, however, I would probably suggest going at the beginning of your time in the country to properly introduce you to the wonderful history of Peru.
