The place is at the prime location, by the ocean and also the mall. We got the room with ocean view, definitely worth it! The room is spacious with seating area. Bathroom is very roomy too, especially the overhead raincan shower head, love the water pressure! The hotel comes with one classic bar inside, good crowd during my 2-days stay. It also has a restaurant w/ nice patio seating area at the first floor, unfortunately we didn't try it since we don't see many people eating there and we would love to try other restaurants in Miraflores. The swimming pool is at 11th floor with stunning view! Great to go swim late afternoon and see the sunset. The gym is with good size and equipments. Lastly, all the staffs are very nice, one of the best based on my experience.

Our arrival to Lima was not without trouble as the flight was delayed and checked baggage was lost. We arrived to the intel late at night and very tired. The staff checked us in promptly and we had a good night rest in very comfortable rooms with ocean view. It was foggy but the ocean is magnificent.

Buffet breakfast was good but the restaurant was somewhat cold. Bring warm clothes!

We were leaving after one night to return in a few days and the staff promised to help with lost baggage. When we came back after three days, our bag was waiting for us at the room.

We enjoyed the stay and dinner at the hotel restaurant downstairs which serves a mix of Peruvian and Japanese food.

Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

I had one of my best experiences at Miraflores Park Hotel. The hotel staff is very kind, helpful and efficient. Since my arrival, I felt they were taking care of me all the time. As me and my partner were celebrating our honeymoon, they provided special amenities for this occasion and spoiled us all the time. The restaurant Mesa 18 has a delicious Peruvian food. Great Service!
The staff members: Jose (Concierge), Christie (Guest Relations) and Jeniffer (Reception) are the best!

When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very large and comfortable and had beautiful view of the ocean and park just across the street. The bathroom was also very large, both rooms were spotlessly clean. We used room service once and it arrived promptly. We had a light meal our first night there in the bar. It was very good. The breakfast at The Observatory restaurant on the roof was fabulous.
The Larcomar shopping center is within easy walking distance.
Almost everyday we asked for directions, restaurant recommendations, etc. and were always helped by the extremely friendly staff. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Lima.

Room Tip: I recommend the ocean view, fantastic.

We knew we had a nice hotel booked for the end of our Peru adventure holiday - but not THIS nice! Wow - talk about posh! Really beautiful foyer; rooms were spacious and had fantastic views; my son was very happy with the gym there; rooftop pool was lovely; breakfast was delicious - could have sat there all day as such variety! Staff were all very helpful and friendly. We only had the same old clothes to wear as at the end of our travels - could have done with a brand new wardrobe of stuff to suit the hotel!

Room Tip: Just ask for a seaview one!

An opulent hotel in a nice part of Lima with views of the sea and park. Reception area (and flower displays) are stunning. Rooms are large and well-appointed. We had a garden suite on the 4th floor. I thought this meant it had a view of the garden, but it actually had a small garden with chairs and nice planting!

Drinks in the Jekyll and Hyde bar were reasonably priced. Range of breakfast items was stunning, as was the view from the 11th floor where it is served. Pool area (also on this floor) was lovely but grey drizzly day meant we didn't get to use it.

Nice safe area to walk around at night and Larcomar shopping centre is just 2 blocks away with range of American and peruvian shops and restaurants.

Only downside is Lima traffic - expect journey from airport to take 40 -50 minutes.

We stayed at the Miraflores Park (also apparently known locally as the Park Plaza) in late July to early August 2013, for a second part our honeymoon and wedding celebration. My wife's family is from Peru, so we attended a family reunion in Lima and I got to meet everyone!
We really loved this hotel. The view from the 11th floor room where they serve breakfast is absolutely stunning, overlooking the cliffs along the coast, the incoming surf down below and the Rosa Nautica restaurant in the distance on its own little peninsula. There also is a nice pool and work out room and spa on the 11th floor with the same, fantastic views.
Our room was #709, with views of the sea and a nice sitting area. I think it is worth paying the extra money to get a sea view suite, if it is possible. The furnishings were not brand new, but it was very comfortable and we were fully pleased with it, with a really great shower that we also enjoyed.
The service at the hotel is truly five stars, and they are very professional, efficient and friendly and people seem to enjoy working there. One should be aware that if you reserve a car service from the hotel, you will be in a Mercedes in great comfort and it is very inexpensive by international standards. It is very expensive by local standards in that the street taxis cost next to nothing, which I always wonder about in terms of how they make a living. For cleanliness, safety, comfort and professionalism, I would strongly recommend to use the hotel's car services even though it costs more and even though we had no safety concerns whatsoever while in Lima.
There is piano in the beautiful lobby every night, and an English style bar that even accomodated my request for lower salt ceviche which still was delicious. The hotel has a very nice Japanese restaurant to the front that also has a menu with Peruvian food, and we enjoyed it even though we normally do not eat in hotel restaurants.
All in all, we found no faults with this hotel and highly recommend it for anyone who wants to stay in a five star hotel with the special Orient Express atmosphere.

Room Tip: We recommend a sea view suite which has wonderful views.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
There’s something special about a room with a sea view. Waking up to the image of sun-gilded waves in the morning. Watching the moonlight play along the surf late at night. When that sea view is offered by a hotel in a bustling Latin American capital city, it is something very special indeed. We’re willing to bet that there are few city hotels that can cite a string of palm trees as their closest neighbors. Set in a verdant garden atop a towering cliff, Belmond Miraflores Park is a true urban sanctuary. The hotel takes its name from the well-heeled neighborhood of Miraflores. This suburb of Lima is loved by locals for its luxury shopping and blooming six-mile boardwalk that borders the Pacific. It’s no coincidence that Miraflores translates to “Look! Flowers!” in English. Whether you’re with us for business or for leisure, Belmond Miraflores Park is destined to impress. There’s a sophisticated Executive Lounge on the tenth floor in which you can while away those work hours in style. ... more   less
