“Well located for airport!”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

Stayed here for one night having a crazy early flight time the following morning. Hotel is located a short drive from the International Airport so served the purpose very well.

Friendly staff, rooms were clean, bed was very comfortable, bathroom had everything that was needed so this choice of hotel turned out to be perfect my requirements.

Due to the short stay did not get to see other amenities of the hotel such as gym, pool or restaurant. Would use the hotel again if needing something close to the airport.

This was the last stop in our Machu Picchu excursion and we unfortunately had a very early start the next day to make our flight to Santiago.

This probably made our assessment difficult but we had a very nice dinner arranged by our tour operator in a private residence.

The rooms were OK, but not great, and the location on a busy main road made the rooms a bit noisy.

This hotel is well located not too far from the International Airport. it is a short taxi ride to great restaurants such as Lima 27 which was recommended by the concierge. The staff is very nice and friendly, the rooms are just perfect for a business trip and the breakfast is excellent. I will go back there on my future visits to Lima.

Stayed at this hotel for on night on my arrival to lima. The rooms were ok but a bit dated so i check out and went elsewhere only because i had book it for just one night and wasn't that impressed . Had a older smell to it. the rooms were clean but nothing to brag about. I would stay here again if the price was right.

Room Tip: The basic room is a bit small.

My trip to lima was memorable and one of the reasons for pleasant memories is the Meliá Lima hotel. It is a wonderful place to stay. It is located in the district of San Isidro. It is the nearest five star hotel to the Jorge Chávez International Airport and is also very near to the historical heart of the city. An excellent experience, it provides all modern facilities, and the entire staff is gentle, polite and always available for assistance. The tourist district of Miraflores is just a few minutes drive away and the hotel provides easy access to the most important museums, art galleries and exclusive stores, amongst other attractions.
Though some reviews I had read were not so encouraging, I didn't find anything negative about the place and would love to stay there again.

We stayed at Melia Lima just for one night but was enough to meet a pleasant reception staff and helpful bellboys.
The restaurant is well fitted and the breakfast outstanding.
The location is not so bad, as you have to spend just few Soles to get a taxi to neighborhoods close by such as Miraflores, one of the best places in the world for fine dining.
I look forward to go back to Lima and stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for a front side suite.

A business style hotel which was fine for a one night stop-over in Lima before moving on to more interesting places to see in Peru. My wife and I chose a room on "The Level", which is the business floor where free drinks and food are available at various times of the day for a small extra initial cost. Well worth it as lounge space in the rest of the hotel seemed at a premium and the only hotel bar appeared to be in the restaurant.
Not a lot of character, but the room, service and food were all pretty good.
As one other reviewer commented if you're a tourist this isn't the best location in Lima, with little in the near vicinity to attract you out of the hotel.
For anyone planning to stay longer in Lima I'd shop around for something a bit better.

Room Tip: Go for "The Level".
