We stayed at Melia Lima just for one night but was enough to meet a pleasant reception staff and helpful bellboys.
The restaurant is well fitted and the breakfast outstanding.
The location is not so bad, as you have to spend just few Soles to get a taxi to neighborhoods close by such as Miraflores, one of the best places in the world for fine dining.
I look forward to go back to Lima and stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for a front side suite.

A business style hotel which was fine for a one night stop-over in Lima before moving on to more interesting places to see in Peru. My wife and I chose a room on "The Level", which is the business floor where free drinks and food are available at various times of the day for a small extra initial cost. Well worth it as lounge space in the rest of the hotel seemed at a premium and the only hotel bar appeared to be in the restaurant.
Not a lot of character, but the room, service and food were all pretty good.
As one other reviewer commented if you're a tourist this isn't the best location in Lima, with little in the near vicinity to attract you out of the hotel.
For anyone planning to stay longer in Lima I'd shop around for something a bit better.

Room Tip: Go for "The Level".

This hotel does not live up to the hype that's on its website. It's definitely not a 4 or 5 star hotel, and it's not luxurious at all. It's a decent, clean 3.5 star hotel that's located in the business district of San Isidro. Since I was in Lima on business, I found the location to be perfect. If you're a tourist, I think that another hotel might be more practical.

I stayed in two rooms: the Junior Suite and the Deluxe Double. I liked the latter better than the former because the furniture in the Junior Suite was very outdated and the noise from the street traffic was completely unbearable. People in Lima blow their horns for any and everything, and it seems as though there's traffic at all hours of the night.

After not being able to sleep well in the Junior Suite, I asked for a quieter room, and they gave me the Deluxe Double. The Deluxe Double was a nice size. It had outdated furniture, but there was less of it. The room was clean and much quieter than the first room.

The breakfast was good, the Internet worked just fine, but the gym equipment was dated and not very nice. I liked this hotel because the service was good and the room was clean. I have heard that it's so hard to find a reasonably priced clean hotel in Lima. I also appreciated the fact that it's in a safe neighborhood. I could walk to the supermarket, and I was right down the street from Universidad del Pacífico. On the flip side, the hotel was average and needs to be updated. If I go back to Lima again on business, I will probably pick another hotel in San Isidro.

Room Tip: Choose a room that faces the back of the building to avoid the noise from traffic

Good location, a very nice 4 star hotel, amazing staff and friendlly service. Enjoy our stay very much ! If you don't want to pay 5 Starts and have the service, go to Melia Lima
The location is not the best, but you are closer from the airport and closer to the centre of Lima if you compare it to the other 5 Star accomodation. We had Breakfast (buffet) included, and that was a plus

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade (30US) to the V Level Suites

Stayed for one night at level nine. Checkin at this floor with personal service, a drink and a hot refreshing towel. Paid usd 195. Bar also on this level, service a bit slow. Nice view. Taxi service of hotel too expensive! Advice to take regular cab, saves 30 soles in our case on a single way
