The location is great, is a quiet and very exclusive area of Lima.
It is easy to get by and move to different places, specially considering the traffic complications of a big city such is Lima. The hotel is clean, neat, very modern, the personnel in the hotel very friendly and ready to help and solve any problem.
The bar is a great place to be and spend time with your friends and associates, the food in the hotel is fine, either any of the formal restaurants or the "cafeteria".

Room Tip: I would recommend a junior suite or executive floors

I booked this at the end of our Peru stay. My husband and i were travellingwith my 80 year old mother. We stayed on the excutive floor which was well worth it. Mom was two doors down the hall from us andd instead of having to bang on her door, we could ring the bell. This she heard better than knocking on the door. The staff in the excutive lounge were so attentive to our needs. Particulary Francisco. He helped us with everything from arranging a tour to where to buy the rum and coffee we wanted. Wen it came up in conversation that I hadn't had a pisco sour yet - he went off and made me one. If you're going to be spending a lot of time at he hotel definitely go for the executive floors as your b/ fast lunch, dinner and snacks are included in the lounge. The food was excellent and again service, top notch. I woudl say however that apart from the actual workers and some of the menu items, the hotel offered no sense or feel of being in Peru. It was cookie cutter hotel-chain with excellent service. It's described as a buiness hotel and it would certainly be great for that!

Room Tip: Go for the executive floors you endup with free meals

This hotel has everything going for it, great location, fantastic staff and very competitive rates. As a 5* establishment I am a little more critical than I would be otherwise. The reality of the situation is that while the lobby and service are great, the rooms and in particular the bathrooms are not up to 5* standard, they are old and dated. There is extensive renovations on the go at the hotel and hopefully these upgrades will further cement the hotels premier position in Lima's hotels higher archly. For the record....the meal I had at the "Sushi Cage" was fantastic! A great fusion of traditional Japanese Sushi and Peruvian flavours and staples. It is well worth a visit.

Great hotel in Lima. Is well located and has a good rate for a 5 star hotel. It has great food in its restaurants, specially La Fontane. The rooms are luxury and the service is friendly and supportive. Great beds and everything you need to rest if you are on a business trip. I see no other option for a 5 star hotel in Lima.

Shared impression by many people I work with from different countries, this is a definitive benchmark in service quality around the world. From my arrival, welcomed with natural orange juice and a hot towel, to the check out, the experience was just great,

Have spent many nights at the Swissotel while in Lima for business. The hotel is great, the rooms are spacious and come with a lot of amenities. The customer service of the staff is great, they go the extra mile for you. Have received multiple upgrades, the executive lounge is a nice welcome. Breakfast is good and the restaurants are worth the try as well (try the lomo saltado).
