It´s located very close to Miraflores Central park, and at walking distance to the cliffside and restaurants. The attention at the lobby desk is smooth and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are comfortable, with Wi-Fi and safety box.
The breakfast is just average and crowded. There is nothing in the minibar and the small fast food at the lobby is very expensive.
In general balance, it is a good place to stay, no doubt I´ll be back in these hotel next time in Lima

This is a great new hotel in lovely Miraflores, Lima. The hotel, location and amenities are great but what makes the stay even better is the friendly, helpful staff, especially Ruben Alva Villaseca. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, clean rooms with new furniture, average bathroom, average breakfast, very friendly staff. Only thing: it's a bit noisy (you hear everyone in the corridor and your neighbors). Other than that it's a nice and safe hotel.

We toured Peru with Gate 1 Travel, selecting their upgraded hotels package. After landing at Lima's airport, getting our luggage and taking a 1/2 hour bus ride, we arrived at the hotel, clearly on par with better hotels in Europe, South Africa or Japan (all places we have visited in the past). The hotel staff was efficient and friendly, even pointing us to a wonderful restaurant around the corner instead of suggesting we eat at the hotel. (See my separate review for the Saqra Restaurante).

Our quiet room had two very comfortable single beds and a sign (as throughout Peru) that tourists should not swallow tap water, although we had no trouble using it to wash and brush our teeth. Like many of the hotels we stayed at, W-fi Internet was available in the lobby, but not our room.

We did have lunch at the hotel one day. My wife chose the alpaca burger (a bit too well-done) and I had a more traditional hamburger. Our traveling companions had a salad with chicken, and we all tried, of course, the Inka Cola--Peru's national carbonated beverage. Everything was very good, moderately priced (i.e., 25-28 Nuevo Soles, roughly $10.00US per complete meal--priced the same as most of the restaurants at which we ate throughout Peru).

The hotel is two blocks from a large grocery store, and about a 10-15 minute walk to the upscale Larcomar shopping center, across the street from the Marriott Hotel. (Note: we walked right over it on our first attempt to find it, as it is built into the cliffside at the Pacific Ocean with a park on top of it. We finally walked to the edge of the cliff and saw the stairwells going down.)

Would we stay there again? Definitely!

Room Tip: All rooms appear to be good, although the views are not. Most of the rooms look out at the building...

Casa Andina Select, in the upscale Lima neighborhood of Miraflores, is part of a chain of quality hotels throughout Peru. Check in was efficient and the modern room was clean and spacious with nice artwork, a large bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a flat screen TV. The hotel is convenient to good shops and restaurants.

There were, however, a few flaws. For starters, it was the only hotel of five I stayed in around the country that did not provide complimentary bottled water (you could buy it at a convenience stand off the lobby). But that was minor compared to the noise problem. My first night there, after a long day of traveling from the States, I never got more than a few minutes of sleep. My room was on the fourth floor and the streets surrounding the hotel were like a never-ending racetrack.

I had an early morning departure, but arrangements had been made for an early 6 a.m.breakfast. That turned out to be a container of yogurt and a couple of dry miniature muffins. I had to ask several times for a cup of tea.

On my return a couple of days later, the difference was like day and night. At my request, the desk clerk cheerfully gave me a room on the top floor in the rear of the hotel. ( It was an upgrade at no additional charge) It was very quiet. Breakfast the next morning was a big improvement with a full range of choices. Like all the other Peruvian hotels I stayed at, this one didn't believe in hot food either.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a room on an upper floor in the rear for a peaceful night's sleep.

I stayed at this hotel a few nights during a business trip. The hotel is located at Schell in Miraflores, which is in the middle of the centre, close to everything. Supermarket around the corner at Alcanfores and another one on Schell, Metro, next to Ripley. Both open 24x7. My room was at the back of the hotel, so I didn't hear too much noise from the street. I believe this hotel is opened recently, everything is new, service and facilities are great. Internet worked perfect and was very fast. Restaurant and food are ok, however in the centre of Miraflores there are plenty of other good places to go if you want to eat something outside the hotel. Breakfast was ok, the buffet is a bit limited but you can ask for additional things like eggs, omelets, etc. Only minor thing was that my room was a bit small. In general: Great hotel, excellent location, great service and facilities.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room as far away from the street as possible.

Very modern hotel but you could be anywhere in the world. It had an iron, ironing board and a line over the bath for drying. The bath was very narrow - anyone over 16 stone should lower themselves with caution or stick to a shower. Noisy at the front but back rooms OK.
Good breakfast with all the usual international selections.
Nice staff. Would return if I came back to Lima as the area felt safe out at night.
Large, well stocked, modern supermarket (Tesco with panache!) close by.

Room Tip: Can be noisy at the front so ask for a room at the rear.
