We were surprised to find that dinner reservations at the best restaurants were very hard to find on one or two days notice. Our hotel booked us here and we thought we were lucky to get it. Unfortunately the food was very mediocre. We subsequently had much better at various locations around the city. I'm sorry not to be able to recommend it.

Pisco Sours were good but the food was excellent. We were there at 8pm and the place was deserted. We would have enjoyed some other people but it seems Lima is a late dining venue.

Even though we live in Lima, we didn't know about Pampa de Amancaes until we found it in Trip Advisor :)
We were "Wonderfully Surprised" by the "old time Good Peruvian service" that they offer and the delicious food!
The Pisco Sours were an Excellent beginning to a great Sunday lunch experience. One that we'll definitely repeat.
Home made breads, and Yummy Piqueos, Cebiche stuffed inside wontan deep-fried dow. Falling apart Goat cooked in it's own juices with a touch of Zapallo Loche (special Northern Peruvian pumkin) and tacu tacu (rice and beans mixed together and after sautéed).
And for dessert, confit of Limes stuffed with manjarblanco!
Thank you :)

Amazing ceviche classic and lomo saltado... worth the visit! A glass of Malbec wine went well with the entree at a reasonable price. Good size portions and also excellent dessert choices. My wife and I had a nice romantic meal here.

Nice restaurant with good food even though on the expensive side. The staff does not speak much English but they try. The environment is not as welcoming though. I would recommend for predictability.
