“Wonderfully surprised!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2013

Even though we live in Lima, we didn't know about Pampa de Amancaes until we found it in Trip Advisor :)
We were "Wonderfully Surprised" by the "old time Good Peruvian service" that they offer and the delicious food!
The Pisco Sours were an Excellent beginning to a great Sunday lunch experience. One that we'll definitely repeat.
Home made breads, and Yummy Piqueos, Cebiche stuffed inside wontan deep-fried dow. Falling apart Goat cooked in it's own juices with a touch of Zapallo Loche (special Northern Peruvian pumkin) and tacu tacu (rice and beans mixed together and after sautéed).
And for dessert, confit of Limes stuffed with manjarblanco!
Thank you :)

“Excellence”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013 via mobile

Amazing ceviche classic and lomo saltado... worth the visit! A glass of Malbec wine went well with the entree at a reasonable price. Good size portions and also excellent dessert choices. My wife and I had a nice romantic meal here.

“Good food, good location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2013 via mobile

Nice restaurant with good food even though on the expensive side. The staff does not speak much English but they try. The environment is not as welcoming though. I would recommend for predictability.

“Pricey but nice restaurant, open on Sunday”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013 via mobile

The hotel concierge recommended this restaurant after our other suggestions were shut on Sunday. The tricolour tiradito was tasty, also had the pork -the crackling was crispy, & chicken with rice - average. If you are not very hungry, don't order bread, S5 per person for a few small buns. Food was well-presented though.

“Outstanding in Miraflores”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2013 via mobile

Great food, walkable from the Marriott.
We ate at Astrid & Gaston the night before. The 3 of us liked the food at Pampa better while the service was unbeatable at Astrid. The lamb cooked in a red wine sauce and accompanied with risotto was excellent.
They have a small bar in the front and nice dining areas in this converted house. White tablecloths and good table spacing.
A good place to dine for an upscale, but comfortable experience.
